Hi everyone, with this video I show you how to improve the sounds of your e-drums for free.
You just have to download everything you need and connect your drums, with a USB cable, to your PC (EASY!!!).

Hi i am new to e drums and i am trying to use ssd5 with my millenium 850 as well. I have followed all the instruction shown is this video but how do i get the sound from ssd5 to take over the sound from preset kits on 850 drum module. I have been told i need to map it manually or find a preset for the millenium 850. Tried search for the preset to avoid mapping it manually but could not find any. Could you please show/ tell us how to map it manually? Would be much appreciated.

how do you map the drum kit , i plugged in my drumset through a midi usb cable , installed ssd5 plugin in reaper but when i hit the drums it doesnt trigger any midi notes :(

Hi, I haven't done anything to reduce the latency. If you have this problem try going to Options-> preferences-> audio-> recording and try adjusting to "audio reported latency". Many times, however, the latency is due to the hardware, to have good response times you must have computers with good technical characteristics.

Ciao, quando collego tramite midi a usb la mps 850 a reaper con mt powerkit purtroppo se suono la batteria non succede niente, sapresti come aiutarmi per caso? mi saresti di grande aiuto perché non capisco quale sia il problema, se il cavo midi, il modulo o altro

Molto strana come cosa; proverò ad indagare meglio ma al momento, se non l’hai già fatto, assicurati di avere la centralina accesa e, se non viene rilevata in automatico, nelle impostazioni di audio (in ingresso) imposta la periferica midi che desideri (in questo caso la centralina appunto) come midi in.

MT powerkit is great for layering. By itself, not so much.

Now how do I connect it so that those sounds comes out a external monitor?

You need to connect your drum module to the computer. This is done using an AB USB cable or a midi cable. Your computer will automatically detect the device as “MIDI IN”. If not, do it manually from the audio settings of the DAW. To get the audio out of external monitors you simply need to set the monitors as audio out.

@@sebastianosabo cheers mate, with mt power band do you have to map the keys. Also, when you say audio output can I put it back to the controller? So I can directly connect the monitors to the 850 controller or do I connect monitors to the laptop.

Ciao, no non serve. Ti basta un cavo USB tipo AB. Lo colleghi da una parte alla centralina della batteria mentre l’altra ad una normale porta usb del tuo pc. La batteria verrà riconosciuta subito come input midi.

Ovviamente questo procedimento vale per qualsiasi periferica midi tu voglia usare (potresti usare questi plugin su una tastiera midi, su dei pad ecc…)

@@sebastianosabo scusami ma da questa applicazione è possibile far scattare il suono del kick al massimo livello con il minimo tocco?? Perchè dalle regolazioni sul modulo non ci sono riuscito, e sono costretto a colpire forte per farlo sentire abbastanza.

@@alessioraggioli Non ho mai provato questo procedimento in quanto vai a togliere qualsiasi tipo di dinamica (tranne la più forte appunto), in ogni caso, nel edit e nel mixer del programma si possono aumentare i valori della velocity e del volume di ogni singolo componente e, teoricamente, dovresti ottenere l’effetto desiderato.
