This is the high quality station (theme) music for the "Millennium Force" roller coaster at Cedar Point. It is the official soundtrack song for the ride in high definition (resolution) audio sound.
I miss them saying that I mean they still say it I just mean I went in June and it was my first time I had an amazing time and it was my first time riding a coaster went on steely first was so worth it wanna go back so bad
Steven Kokko nah should be fine but ye I agree make sure you don't listen too much because it's really nice to listen to the music at the station and then bamm ride the coaster :p
holy crap. I literally log on to youtube after an hour of trying to make this my ringtone, and I get a notification from the music. some good irony there.
I think they nailed the whole millennium force theme, just the idea of the futuristic concepts with the way the trains are designed, the amazing arrays of lights they shine on the supports, and especially this station music; has such a smooth electric feel
This creates a futuristic atmosphere where as other rides such as the smiler set an unsettling atmosphere with the station music it is a jumble of sounds and audio tones then you hear the gate open the lights flash on and you hear "join us"
I wish someone had or could find the original station auto spiel from the 2000 - 2001 season. A small snippet of it is in the "roller coasters of cedar point " video as it goes up the lift hill, but would be amazing to hear the entire thing... it HAS to be preserved somewhere...
It’s funny you mentioned that, because my sister and I were talking about that not long ago! She was saying she could’ve sworn there used to be a woman’s voice giving safety precautions at the station, and I was saying how I don’t remember it. Then I heard the snippet on RU-vid and still can’t remember it. Oh well I guess you guys were right lol!
It is in the 1999 promo video for Mille. And the original you are talking about is still being used today, like actually today. Was just there. I was talking with some of the workers on how to find the original version being played, I was directed to Google "millennium force platform music". I know where the track is and the only way to get it is to bribe o e of the workers to allow you or have them copy the soundtrack file on the main control computer it the control room to a flash drive. Hope someone can get it copied and uploaded!!! Like if a worker sees this!!! Please!
@@therealvargie1035 Interesting... one of the ride ops of Millennium Force actually watches my videos, maybe I'll ask him next time I see him. I was just there a week ago and they are not using the safety spiel itself, the station music just loops - but since they aren't using safety spiels anymore that are pre-recorded, they should just release it, a lot of people would love to hear it.. it was gold how it meshed with the music and lights when this ride first opened. Sad they got rid of the original spiel after the 2001 season... :( See if you can get more info...
This was the coaster that flipped a switch in me. I used to be terrified of coasters but over the years I had started doing smaller to moderately sized coasters. But I had never done something of this magnitude before. My mom convinced to me do it and immediately as we went up the lift hill I was already regretting it. I swear I greyed out at the first drop and then was having the time of my life. Because of this coaster I am a full fledged coaster enthusiast
😂 this was my first “real” coaster back in 2006 and I still believe to this day that I also greyed out on the first drop. Didn’t matter though I was back in the queue as soon as the ride was over. lol
I was immediately intimidated by the music while waiting in the station. Extremely effective and gets you so pumped while waiting! Best coaster on Earth!
It also blocks the view of the hill, so you almost "forget" what you are getting into. It's when you are in the far line you see the hill, but as you get closer it disappears. Then, when you get on and clear the station, "oh shit"
First hill, 310 feet in the air. A nearly inverted turn, 169 feet in the air, and then, into the tunnel. Greatest thrill ride ever. Breathe. You have just broken 10 world records.
This puts me exactly in the station, in the seat buckling my seatbelt. Same way with “Ready to Go” for Dragster. Both just put me in a great place and make me happy
I'm having major nostalgia over this coaster tonight. As a kid I went to the website regularly and ever downloaded the sound clips to turn this into my ringtone and following along with the construction updates. Seeing Millennium Force and later Top Thrill for the first time was incredible. When I look into my friends eyes I always hope to see that fright and amazement of these tall coasters over the bay their first time. I need to go back.
closed out the season last night on the final train to be dispatched. Blue train, row 1, left seat, sent us nearly 40min after close due to various issues including the catch car overshooting. 90+MPH at night in winds that were likely just on the edge of operations, in 40* weather in simply a T-Shirt. best ride I've gotten out of hundreds on Millie.
Welcome back riders, how was your riiiiiide?! (cheers) Awesome! When the train reaches a complete and final stop, unbuckle your seat belt and pull up on your lapbar. Exit to your right and right only and have a great rest of the day at Cedar Point-America's roller coast, ride on!
This is how we hear it when we are standing in line at the station: "your gonna die, your gonna die, your gonna die your gonna die", we will start singing it every time we hear it, it makes us that more excited!
You got my top 3 right ❤ As much as I love Steel Vengeance and it's a fantastic ride, Millennium takes number 1 for me and nothing has beat it! Even over Fury 325 and I 305. ❤
22 years old and live in Virginia and make the journey almost every summer to cedar point to stay at the breakers. Swear to god it’s the only place in the world that makes me feel like I’m 6 with no worries in the world still
I rode this at the end of the day a few years back with the sunset pleasently gleaming off to the left, with the whole train singing this song loudly as we went up, after waiting in a very lonh queue. That was the best ride on Millie I ever had. Gah I wish it was summer so I could go on this right now.
So you've finally reached Cedar Point after nearly 4 hours of travel, or perhaps you're staying nearby and have been on the road for longer. Your plat pass gives you early entry, after 10 mins, you finally reach the station, and this is the first thing you hear.
I went in this ride for the first time in 2019, we were able to get on an hour early before the park opened and this ride was a walk on. I still have memories of me being scared out of my mind when I heard the station music and when we were getting buckled in, as I wanted to Conquer my fear of rollercoasters. We ended up getting to go on it twice back to back and it was one of the best coaster experiences I’ve had in my life and dang does this music bring back the great memories
I miss this song. My top 1 fave coaster! I rode it when it debuted! Nothing better folks! Best station music ever! Gets ya pumped for one of the best rides of your life!
Um... you need to ride more coasters cause there are way better coasters than this now, even at Cedar Point Maverick, Steel Vengeance and even Gemini provide much more intense experiences, but looking outside of Cedar Point, you gotta ride Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion, literally one of, if not THE most intense coaster ever built, Ride it in the Front and in the Back
listening to this makes me think about when the gates open and you strap yourself into the seat and you get so excited and your trying to make your friend next to you nervous lol
a couple years ago I was on the last ride of the night. They were about to shut it down because it was pouring and there was lightning. We begged the conductor for one more and after a tense 30 seconds he gave a thumbs up. The rain felt like daggers against my face and it was the most fun i've ever had in the park. Still have pictures right after it ended. Fun times.
Getting antsy just listening to this. Can't wait to go back. The weather all nice like it has been has gotten me thinking my Cedar Point thoughts, so I'm pumping myself up. Might go twice this year, both with people who've never been, so I'm going to drag both of them on this ride because it's my absolute favorite. And I want to scare the pants off of them
Americas Rock and Roller Coast! The Amazement Park! Been going there every summer since I was 5! Haven’t been in 6 years because I’ve moved too far away! Miss it terribly! 😢 This song... especially after sunset! Not a care in the world for a day!
I find the catchphrase “The future is riding on it” kinda funny when you’re talking about a roller coaster. I mean I know what they were going for but to me it sounds like some form of futuristic transportation
Millennium Force is a phenomenal ride!!! I don’t care what anybody else says!!! My favorite experience on it, I will never forget it!!! It was our last night at Cedar Point last year, and we had some company with us!!! We decided that our last ride on the trip should be Millie, and she did not disappoint!!!!! We boarded her train and had the awesomest fucking ride on a coaster I ever rode!!!! And we didn’t detect any bugs in our faces!!! It was the most beautiful way to end an already awesome trip to Cedar Point!!! Top Thrill Dragster is my favorite ride at the park, and it will always be, and I hope it reopens, but there’s just something about Millennium Force that’s just, I don’t know, special!!!!!
welcome riders to millennium force please take this time to secure all lose articles such as hats, phone, sunglasses and etc Cedar Point is not responsible for any lost or damage property so take this time to secure them. When you’re taking your seat the seatbelt is first and the lap bar is second again seat belt first lap bar second. Please keep your hands and feet inside the ride with your head, back, and shoulders against the seat back facing forward at all times. Enjoy your ride ☺️ -Millennium Force crew 2019
I’m deathy afraid of huge roller coasters, and I rode this once because of peer pressure. I literally blacked out. Just came here bc the music was a bop lol
An awesome theme song for an awesome ride!! This was my first giga and this year I had the opportunity to ride Fury 325 so I can see how a ride like Fury is automatically better but that's not really a fair comparison. Millennium force is a super fun ride, and despite what people say, MF can be very forceful, I honestly can't physically remember greying out on a coaster before I rode this, and that includes the pretzel loop on Tatsu. Lines were pretty good when I visited Cedar Point for the first time last year. got 15 rides on it in 3 1/2 days. I also didn't quite understand the claims of no airtime, especially because it's stupid easy to get room on the T bars, so naturally I probably got better air than most, or it was running really well when I rode it but either way it's a phenomenal ride that paved the way for the gigas in existence today and really tall and fast coasters in general. I hope to visit Kings Island by 2021 at the latest so I'll look forward to getting on Orion, although it hasn't even been fully constructed yet and most enthusiasts are already doubting how great of a ride it will likely be. Unless you have an RMC in the same park, any B&M is usually the best coaster in the park, especially a giga even if it's only the drop that classifies it as such
Millenium Force made my Favorite Ride list as no. 1.. it was hard trying to pick a favorite ride out of this park for me.. they are all awsome but i rode Millenium Force the most and the music gets me pumped so this has definitely topped my list..
i've never been to cedar point but i'm hoping to go for the first time this summer and this is getting me hyped😄 millie is the coaster i'm most excited to ride🎢
We went over the summer with my school, whoever got on first three weeks of honor roll type thing, and I think I embarrassed my friends. We got in line for Millennium Force and as soon as we got close enough to hear the station music I started dancing.
I've only ridden Millie three times now, but I only heard the music the third time because it had just finished downpouring, so there was practically no one in line to drown out the music.
I was just waiting in line for this yesterday and I thought, Gee, I really need to get a recording of this music and what do ya know, This pops up on my recommendations list!
I actually had a dream that Millennium Force had been torn down and replaced with a large 300 foot tall orange stand up roller coaster called THUNDERSTRUCK. Came back here just to be relieved it's still thrilling guests at Cedar Point. Forever my favorite roller coaster
can confirm, closed out the season last night on the final train to be dispatched. Blue train, row 1, left seat, sent us nearly 40min after close due to various issues including the catch car overshooting. 90+MPH at night in winds that were likely just on the edge of operations, in 40* weather in simply a T-Shirt. best ride I've gotten out of hundreds on Millie.
If you hear it in the station, prepare for an adventure that you really should only do once. It's a boring ride, imo. Yes, it's tall, but so is TTD. Yes, it's got a great drop, but Maverick's is better. Yes, it's long, but so is the line. It's great as a credit for a historical coaster, but it just doesn't hold up to modern ride development.
