what happened with the blush is such a shame :( i actually adore the blush, it’s easy to blend and gives such a nice sun kissed glow to my cheeks! my favourite products from the brand are the lip oil and the oil free moisturiser!!
@@zyoom8796 it looks as if someone from the store stuck their finger into the blush (you can see a bit of a finger print mark on the compact), this is just unsanitary and kind of gross. you don’t know where that finger has been or the kind of germs it has, i wouldn’t want to put that on my face tbf.
I genuinely can’t stand when people open products instead of using testers. I watched these like group of girls open a bunch of containers at a morphe instead of using the testers and they were all testing the same products so instead of just opening one at a time they did like 5 per product. And like if they didn’t like it they just closed it and put it back in it packaging and put it back on the shelf. Luckily a employee eventually caught them and not only were they required to pay for everything they opened they got banned. Bc they tested out so much stuff that employees literally had to restock a lot of shelves
@@foofypyonpyon3660 ikk fr. And even then I feel like it’s just common sense. There are testers infront of you labeled “testers/samplers” so you think to use those.
Yeah that’s how workers are taught to stock items so the ones that will expire sooner are sold before then since the newer ones would have some more shelf time.
If you drink/eat dairy products often, I personally think taking it from the front is fine because it'll run out soon. If everyone took it from the back, then the ones in the front would just go to waste.
@@NerdyMystic09 I understand your point, but I live in the middle of a busy city and by the end of the day most of the dairy products are gone, so I might aswell take the things that stay fresher for longer
As someone who worked at Ulta for a year, we always pushed the older products to the back. It’s easier to restock the shelves that way. The true life hack is to take from the front lol
I thought it meant something like it doesn't have like a ton of microplastics or is vegan or smthn, but it very much could be another marketing word like "detox" or "non gmo"
I think it's a shame that it's not regulated in the US. In Europe you have certificates so that you can be sure certain ingredients aren't included. And I don't think it's fear mongering. Consumers are just making an informed decision.
you’re right. there are a ton of videos and articles talking about clean beauty, and how it’s a super ambiguous term. makes you feel good when you buy it, but it’s a whole lot of hoopla. i just wish it really was clean :\
I hate it when creators make a 2 part or more video and don't put a link in the comments for part 2 and I have to waste my time going back through your shorts for a whole year to find the video!
My friend uses some Florence makeup products and I have to say, they’re really good! I didn’t know that it was Millie’s product but that’s cool to know.
whenever i see millie’s brand i just remember that “promotional” video she did a long time ago where she pretended to put her products on and people got mad 💀
@@cherrybombrose3532 yah but she also pretended to put on the cleanser and stuff. i didn’t think it was much of a big deal but the internet dragged her through the mud for it lol
@@anootnoot7192 It kinda was. If the owner of the product wasn't going to use it, it's going to be a big deal lol. People are obviously going to get suspicious if she pretended to put it on herself. The age excuse just doesn't apply as well. Just my opinion but yeah if she won't put it on then there has to be a reason. 🤷♀️
@@waterylemon6880 what i meant by not a big deal is, i don’t think it was big enough of a deal for people to say the things they were saying to and about her. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that’s my opinion. i think it was silly of her to do, but i don’t think it warranted the treatment she got for it at all.
@@anootnoot7192 are you dum. yes it was a big deal. If your tryna sell makeup but not even use it yourself…seriously ppl like you scared to offend anyone jeezus have something to stand up for sheep
I LOVE Florence !! I have most of the skincare products however, I got the clean magic face wash, dreamy dew moisturiser, look alive eye cream and the oh whale lip balm ( a pack of 4 ) for £60. It is amazing, but so expensive 😢
Her skin care stuff is rlly good the make up is okay. But the highlighter and blush and bronzer are the best things for make up. But all of the skin care stuff is rlly nice.
Omg I absolutely love her stuff! Her skincare works really well for all skin types. And her makeup is is perf3ct for wearing makeup but not wanting to wear a lot of heavy product.
I love the blush lol also I have the clear lip balm and I have to be careful with which pocket I carry it in at school cause people have thought it's a vape lol
Yes I use to work at Ulta and that’s what everyone did even if there was a tester!! It was super annoying cause we would have to damage the product and if it was popular we’d run out of it quicker and have to wait for the next truck to get more
I recommend looking at the product to see if it's been opened before you buy it. You could easily see in the video that the box had been opened previously, with there being quite a bit of space in the sides of the box where it closes. Just be more careful and as long as you take time to look, you should easily be able to find packages people didn't decide to pre open for you :]
I have become OBSESSED with Millie’s makeup and skin care line and absolutely love itttt! I have the Dreamy drops hydrating serum the tinted lip balm in the guava & lychee shade, as well as the plumping lip gloss. I also have the head to toe hydrating pack and acne patches on their way to my house now and am planning to get a toner in the future. I think her brand is amazing and I love that most of it is vegan and all of it isn’t tested on animals. It is definitely worth the price 😄
Went to the store yesterday and couldn't find any testers for products I wanted to buy so I just didn't get anything. It's that easy to not open products
I work at said store chain. My jaw DROPPED that it slipped past everyone else. We don’t catch EVERYTHING but I often check on aisle ends to see if anyone discarded someone because we have such a battle between people who test products that do not/are not supposed to have testers and the staff. So, instead of making one’s own tester and ruining a product someone else does want to purchase, let’s try asking an associate _for_ a tester and they’ll explain in a quick 15 seconds whether or not the brand is testable/if we’re allowed to create a tester or if it’s one we need to order. Thanks and please ask people (if you know them) to stop ruining stock like this for both other customers and individual stores. It actually takes tolls on individual stores as well and shoppers deserve the same peace of mind as every other shopper that products that need to be brand new and only used by one person or clean materials have not be contaminated before they spend the money. Many people don’t have a habit of checking their products on the inside before leaving unless they themselves dropped it and it possibly broke. And to think you have a right to just open up a product and test it, despite the tester being right in front of you is just entitlement/lack of courtesy for everyone else.
I agree w u so much w the blush cuz I bought a concealer once and didn't check it... So many ppl used it that it was empty! I couldn't return it and had to use it half empty. Why do people do that :/
That happened to me too, i was so excited for the blush and then when i opened it it had fingerprints in it. I also had a lip balm which was half empty...
I work at a Walgreens and the amount of product we have to pull off the beauty wall because of customers ignoring our signs asking to not open things is ridiculous. If I need to pick something up I only buy things with intact seals because we don’t always find all the open lipsticks.
hi :) in england that is every product. if you want it chances are you just have to buy a used one and hope it was only one person. i’m obviously talking in person shopping not online and at least in my experience
I worked in retail for a good while, and that happens more times than you think. That's why you always check the packaging seal on the product. Look very carefully because a lot of people will make it look unopened. 👀
I knew that she at least modeled for it… I think I got a lip gloss two years ago mostly because she was modeling for that brand, but it is Florence, so now I’m aware. It’s this really pretty clear- sparkly gloss. If you’re doing a sparkly look, and you need just a bit more pizazz to it, the gloss is perfect. I don’t use it every day, more like for special occasions, and it’s held up pretty well. Pretty hydrating etc. idk if they still sell it, but if you can find it I’d be curious to see what you think of it!!
I've known Florence since day 1 BUT the whole lynching against Millie when she was doing her own brand's commercial and pretended to wash her face or something, definitely had me ambivalent about the brand for a while. But that was just the commercial ad anyway. I've been thinking of trying at least one.
Same I was planning to buy it since I thought it would be nice and I wanted to support millie but when she did that it's kinda suspicious. Like why wouldn't she put it on her face? You're not advertising your routine you are advertising your product but yeah. I think I will try it soon since people say it's good. I guess the reason why she pretended to use it will forever be a mystery.
