Bailey Olivia "still"..? Seriously..? You're only 1 year older lol you talk as if you've lived 50 years and still haven't changed. A year is nothing in life but you wouldn't know if you're 14 haha.
She's so mature. And not socially awkward in the slightest? Like the way she leaned over and patted Ellen's hand and how she leans her head and makes proper eye contact with the audience. She's incredible. I hope she grows up to be dignified and inspiring.
osskeet But don't you respect the fact that she's an individual? And don't you think someone who is working non stop to gain respect and recognition should BE considered an individual?
KindlyChill no not in this day and age. The world of entertainment has been through everything so kids like this that are stepping up are because of somebody else. This kids today aren't pioneers of their craft. they're coming after it's already been done. There's nothing wrong being the next Emma Watson.

Her accent isn't perfect haha :). Though if you're referring to Millie's astuteness, I'd completely agree. She has a mix of Dorset English, which is an extremely southern English accent, and a Florida American accent. You can hear the American in certain words, and the English in others. Sorry :) I study dialects and accents simply excite me. There are over 56 different British accents alone. It's amazing how geography shapes the way we speak.
@flyingdolphin I wish you were in front of me. I love this question but it's near impossible to explain if you're not directly in front of me where I can show you the differences by comparing a Florida accent to, say, Maryland or a more extreme difference would be Southern California or Washington State. I'll do my best. The Florida specifically almost sounds like you're humming while you're speaking and It's mostly the very back of the nose/throat. One specific is the first syllable of a word is usually emphasized. For example, the word address. In a Florida accent you'd pronounce it as though the A sound is coming down. Almost like you're saying (-Eh-dress) but not quite. It's still an A sound. I know I'm rambling but it's so difficult to explain sounds with no sound haha.
PhanEdiits that's not what i meant. i mean that rebecca wasn't degrading her as a woman but rather displaying her as a young woman growing up to an adult woman if that makes any sense ^^
Emma was not that well spoken when she was twelve years old. She was a little shy, I think (as most people are when they are twelve). She's always been pretty smart, though, no doubts about that. Millie is one of a kind. :)
Certainly on the accent & wit side! :-) Though I think Millie is more jokey (both have wit), whereas Emma was a bit more shy. But Emma is prettier and more intelligent. Millie is also more tomboyish, while Emma was/is more girly. Also Millie is 12 (turning 13 in February), (probably) 11 when filming Season 1. Emma was 9 when filming Philosopher's Stone, 10 when promoting it, 11 after and while filming Chamber of Secrets. 12 in-between. Then 12, almost 13 when filming Prisoner of Azkaban. But both girls are talented and likeable. & (like I said above both) British with wit. Though both are still different.
I think it’s really sad that people were mad at Millie because she interrupted co-stars but she’s just really excited about acting and now she barely talks during interviews. A lot of people also said that she interrupts Sadie a lot but Sadie is just shy and quiet in general.
she's so mature and elegant in all these interviews. I love her accent too haha. when I saw Stranger Things, I was shocked at how much emotion she conveys in her face, many adult actors aren't even capable of. (Kristen Stewart lmao). I hope to see her a lot in the future!!
Lol everyone in the comments section is talking about how mature she is of course she is after all she’s not American she’s from England decent they are known to mature faster than American kids we goofy as hell over here 😂😂
Kemar Haye mature faster😂😂😂 your funny😂 my friends and I are 14 some of them turning 15 soon and they haven’t matured a single bit... some of them act like they are in year 6 still😂🇬🇧
All of the kids from the show can throw such shade, first it's Finn roasting Jimmy Fallon and now it's Millie saying how Ellen/the Ellen produces never responded to her letters
ass=troll...you've been hooked and he could start reeling at any time...or play you. Either way it will be funny to him, or me, or others...even if we think he is a dingle berry hanging on the lone hair of his taint.
ya right, I kept telling my friends but it seemed like only I felt that! In Natalie's interviews after Léon: The Professional she is just like her smart, confident , witty and charismatic. Plus she looks a bit like her
I guess this episode was filmed near the death of Carrie Fisher and that Ellen was still in grief. She wasn't very focus on same day interview like with Jessica Biel either and also when she's talking about "Hatchmal live cam". Of course it's just a guess, but as her fan for years, she seldom behaved this way. Missing a friend can be hard especially her age, friends around her started to "leave" her.
Skyler Jay yeah, they’re all extremely talented. They had to play some tough roles considering it takes place in the 80s and a lot of pivotal scenes are shot with green screens and cgi
wow, im actually impressed at how quick she can come up with a funny answer at her age. The you didnt mail back bit was funny and witty, this girl is gonna be even more famous when she gets older. im happy for her and her parents for raising such an intelligent girl.
Thank you for adding subtitles. I’m so grateful that as a deaf person subtitles are added and are working properly. All videos on RU-vid should have functional subtitles, so that we can understand the video, it really means a lot to us. Thank you for supporting the deaf and hard of hearing community 🧘♀️🌞✨🌙 We are grateful ✌🏻 The deaf and hard of hearing community thanks you. This is our only way of understanding what is being said. God bless 🦋
She looks younger than her actual age so ur off on that. She's a teenager u kno u ppl act like they're toddlers or sum shit these guys curse a shit ton when they're alone lmao u should see their RU-vid and live feeds
tai Lopez- let’s think about it for a moment (or let’s not): I would like to believe that most teens would be polite and poised if they were on the Ellen show and especially if their acting career partly depended on how they behaved in all of their interviews. Her British accent just give her some extra points because even a hypothetical 5 year old British can sound mature when they ask for an apple.
i completely disagree, it's not easy, if not impossible to fake maturity. she's mature in almost all clips that exist of her. i'd say she has a mental age well over 16, she's rather similar to me in that area. personally i'm not fooled from a british accent, they don't make anyone sound mature unless they're actually mature. yes, if anyone's on the ellen show, they'd act poised and elegant. i suppose you can fake that, but you originally strayed from my response, with your response anyway. there is a difference, or rather multiple differences between elegant/poised and mature. overall, she's mature, she's poised, and elegant all at the same time.
@@aarushikaul7483 of course you can but i was simply saying it is a British thing we call everyone our best mate. Even if its not your best friend we still say it 😂
I love hearing about celebrities fangirling (or boying) over other celebrities. When she said she cried when she met Maddie I thought that was so cute!
She was just so nervous and then it went so well that just casually watching this interview has made me almost unconsciously smile for 4 minutes straight
Amazingly talented young girl and she’s come a long wayyyyyy…. Bless her bright future and actually all the other children on that show It’s spinning my head ♥️♥️♥️♥️
kanye actually speaks very eloquently. He gets shit for it all the time because ppl think he sounds white so stop trying to use his name for likes on a comment
i think it's because ellen didn't sound like she watched stranger things, or knew much about millie to begin with to ask questions that went beyond "are you shaving your head again?" and "you're friends with maddie, right?" kind of a disappointment, bc millie is a joy in interviews.
Anna Lee I think even though Ellen lacked her usual wit, we can all agree that Millie is the one who truly carried this interview. This could have been an awkward one, but Millie saved it. She is amazing!
Slothz ok, you don’t know that because no one has seen it yet. She could quite possibly save her, but maybe not. All I’m saying is that you don’t know yet.
I just love how genuinely innocent she is. She's a child not some 14 year old who looks 24, has the mouth of a sailor and dresses like a stripper to get famous. She's here to show kids it's still ok to not try and be 21 as soon as you're 12. 👏
Addy, they said, “omg eleven is talking” which implies that they were calling her, herself, Eleven. But, SHE is not Eleven. SHE is Millie Brown. But her CHARACTER is Eleven. Her character does not exist in real life, but she does, and she acts as if she is Eleven, which means that she is Millie, not Eleven. And no... that wasn’t (in my eyes) a joke. “omg eleven is talking” is not a joke. I don’t know what you call a joke, but I hope that all made sense. And, also, no need to scream at me. That is not necessary. The internet is a place to connect and come closer with your friends, not a place to drift apart and scream at your rivals. I hope you soon find positivity in your life. :) I wish you good luck with soon-to-come life troubles.
Scarlett Austreng I deleted my comment. 'I don't know what you call joke' yeah. (s)he is talking about Eleven not Millie. It is a joke because (s)he is saying that eleven/elle/jane is talking. (S)He said eleven is not Millie, that is a joke (Joke means to amuse people with funny stories or remarks) that is a quote 'funny remark'. That made me laugh. I am not trying to be a pain in the butt. I try very hard to not, but I tend to. Like maybe I was too much of a jerk to my friend who left me with no explanation. I hope you don't have anything too bad ever happen. You great person. (unless you are not a person)
Scarlett Austreng after making that comment I fell kind of weird. I just wanted to make it clear that I really am not trying to be mean. If I did or said anything mean please remember I don't want to hurt feelings. You are probably an amazing person and would do great at debate (that's a good thing). Sending smiley faces.
