People always get caught up on her 'dirty' style, but just in terms of vocal chops, Millie's really right up there with Otis and the greats.

You made a great comment and I agree with you except for one thing, I never considered her style "dirty", she just addressed stuff that other singers were too soft or scared to touch. I agree with you, however, when you say she is right up there with Otis and the greats.

Millie is amazing, better still in her live shows. I tried to never miss one when she came to London UK 🇬🇧 Still listen to her to this day 2021.💕 There will never be another Millie Jackson.⚘⚘
