Hello Mr.Dave I know you will be glad the poles are done. I’m like Erik I stay away from them, ain’t never did none and don’t plan on it. I think I told you before I had a gentleman that tried to get me to mill up 65 of them… nope know way. Another Sawyer here in the county did it for him. Good video and like the different camera angles. At least this time none of your camera’s fell over. Take care
Nice work! Super nice video! Love the changing view points! Great job. On the poles, I've been asked to mill them but I always avoid doing it LOL partly due to the metal (I work for the phone company -- though that ends Friday) and partly due to the creosote treatment
Thanks Eric. I've found that milling these poles was not such a good idea. In addition to everything else (metal, creosote, metal, preservative, metal, bad smell, metal) I have to find a safe way to get rid of the off-cuts and sawdust. I believe I have to take it to the local landfill $$$$ Dave
Use your debarker on utility poles they have alot of debris in them. Place your logs with the small end towards the saw. Easier to configure. Have fun !😊
