Great video and nice editing on the milling portion. I thought it skipped the portion of you removing the board. Incredible accomplishment for Sheryl, congratulations!

I have the same problem with tools rusting, maybe worse, here in the rain forest of Southeast Alaska. I polish the tables wit a scotchbrite pad and an orbital sander then paste wax, candle wax works to, just heat the table up so the wax gets into the pores of the metal. When rough planing it helps to raise the table bed rollers up a little above the table. Also helps to have some one pull as you push as you know😉

In the battle against corrosion with power tool tables I have found that a spray with clear laquer (pretty much any brand) after blowing off the dust works wonders. If it is damp out heat the table with a propane torch to warm it up and dry it then spray. Once you have two or three coats on a touch up once in a while is all that is needed. Lasts a good amount of time and keeps the table nice and slippery. Unlike waxes it does not get in the wood to interfere with later coatings. It keeps the corrosion away when it is stored as well.

I would like to see you disconnect the battery and connect it every time you need to start the sawmill. It is a very dangerous machine. Your grandchildren are curious children.
