Good afternoon Nathan I have the Ripper and use it all the time when I want to cut pieces from my firewood. It works great but I wonder how it might improve with that blade you were using. Do you sell it? Also just to confirm you measure out from the blade the width you want then clamp a piece of wood as a stop block. I just learned that. I usually select wood that has an interesting grain pattern. I'm not very skillful in identifying the species of wood Cheers
Come over to our store Id love to show you the walnut! We are open 9-4 Monday to Friday EST. When I tested it with my moisture meter it was reading between 9-11%. Certainly not dry enough for furniture but not far off.
