Iori is a badass, of course he'd be someone's favorite :)

He is so well loved that Sakurai thinks he was the coolest character that he ever saw back then not to mention being no 1 in polls back then. He is just that perfect.

well, Million Arthur is very popular in Japan but Square Enix didn't bother to bring the android game worldwide

They likely picked him because of one of the characters of this game is a guest in SNK Heroines not to mention he is a top favorite character among fans and even some video game developers like Sakurai of Smash fame.

And is not the first time so Logically, he hate isekai's

You can import a copy for PS4 from Japan. That's what I did when the game originally came out.
