Been waiting on 1 of these again. Thank you Herc & to the Fresh Out Crew! Herc has a talent interviewing people & allowing them to talk & genuinely engaging them
I believe a big part of the reason O was able to make such a quick and seemingly lucrative turnaround, was because he was a dude that committed a crime(unknowingly), not a criminal. When you think of typical criminals, they don't have the same sort of philosophy once they get out, because they're criminals that don't know any better. Kudos to him tho, great interview.
Yeah I don’t know how that even works out the person rich enough to buy it has to know it’s stolen and can’t really show it off without word getting around that they have it and them getting in trouble just for owning it.
Bruh, you got arrested for brokering a purchase of multimillion dollar art! You can’t tell someone with a murder felony, robbery with a weapon, and crimes that threaten public security that they can easily get a job.
Not sure what heist he's referring to but the famous case in 1990 from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston consisted of 13 paintings worth $500 million and none of paintings have been recovered to this day.
ive never personally been to prison but am someone whose always been interested in different frame of minds in different situations. I think what herc is doing is an inspiration to many as he is living proof you can come out stronger. Well Spoken, informative, intelligent I have nothing but respect for this man.
Big Herc, I enjoy your channel. Keep up the good work and stay blessed ese. And thank you for putting in an effort to mentor others from getting in the system. Much love from Dallas TX.
this dude says he dealt with the paintings stolen from the isabella stewart gardner heist in boston in 1990. he's incorrect. he had paintings stolen from a home in maine 2013
SeamHead33 is right, this dude isn't keeping it as real as other guests. He's a philanthropist? He said Boston but it was Main and the shit wasn't no 40 million more like less than 2 million.
No one knows but this dude surly all them painting were not recovered from the 90' or the 80's unless u in a certain black market you dont know what is in circulation from what state or country
6:55 and...the lying begins. "Nobody really knows what happened, but me." "The truth is the truth." "At the end of the day I don't care about them, I don't care what they think." Dude obviously snitched and is using classic snitch words. If he was an innocent, legitimate dude that didn't know what was going on and thought those guys were his friends why take the wrap for them? He knew what was up, played dumb then snitched to get lighter sentence. Plus who goes to prison for unknowingly selling stolen merchandise? If the story truly went down like he said it did all he has to do is cooperate and he'd be a free man. He knew it was hot and didn't cooperate which is why he ended up in prison. He might've been selling other stolen stuff too which is why the feds knew he was in on it.
Frfr he'd still be locked tf up they took this shit serious & is basically still an open case... It's common sense if the shit wasn't stolen they wouldn't have been trying to sell historical paintings on the damn streets knowing how much more they could make on a legit market
He was lying about it being the Boston Case it was actually art stolen from someone in Maine...According to the newspaper the Guardian:Two of the three men arrested in Los Angeles are behind bars.Lawrence Estrella, of Worcester, Massachusetts, was sentenced to more than seven years in prison after pleading guilty to transporting four stolen paintings to California, and Oscar Leroy Roberts, of North Hollywood, California, was sentenced 2 1/3 years for using the stolen paintings to secure a loan. The third, Dean Coroniti, also of North Hollywood, California, is expected to be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to possession of stolen property.which means he did about 1 year or less total if he got 2 1/3 years for "using stolen paintings to secure a loan" (he pawned them) and said that the other charge of obstruction was thrown out at trial.
Did your subscribers go up this last 16 hours or so? You hit worldstar.. figured that would bring some folks over.. glad to see over 100k. Been subscribed for over 2 years, you had not even 30k then.congrats on the 100k subscriber accomplishment
Flllopakk Yes I do. I grew up in Boston my whole life over 50 years. A couple of guys dressed in real Boston Police uniforms said they got a call, had to check it out and robbed the place. Google it it was one of the the biggest art heists in the world maybe even the biggest. Google it.. The dude in this interview had absolutely nothing to do with it and wasn't connected to anyone who did.. He wouldn't have never gotten a downward departer if he did. Plus he lied to the prosecutor that is another charge right there. Why is he even talking to a prosecutor?.. He gave a Proffer that's why.. I did 12 years in the FEDS myself most of it in a USP I know what's up... Btw the Irish did that Job not the Italians.
Conor Larkin. I read about the case. He pawned some nc wyeth paintings (4) that were stolen from a home in maine. He took them to the pawn shop for his neighbor. His story is off.
I think he knows more than what he lets on. He just doesn't want to incriminate anyone or himself so he is sticking to a story. All we know from this interview is that he was hustling stolen art. He probably knew it was stolen too.
he stated that UPS hire people who are felons. it depends on what you have went to jail for. I'm pretty sure ups wouldn't hire someone who have murdered someone.
Oscar, why? why do this??? your dad's a minister, and your mother was an entrepreneur.... your dad was in the air force. why in the world would you do this, Oscar? shame on you.
Don't self publish man, if a publisher does not want it chances are it's not going to sell, and your going to end up with a garage full of books and $10,000 down.
Someone wants 1 mil for a painting valued at 13, and you don’t know it’s hot? Guess you’re straight laced then, because to anyone else it’s pretty apparent it’s stolen
So I've heard you say that in jail everyone sticks with their race and its race against race a lot , well I would like to know what if you wanted to be cool with 2 races or more just everyone. Does it or even can it happen ?
You cant unless you want a beating by either race, mostlikely your own race would . One of the main rules if if not the main rule is stick with your own kind lol
Art Smosh In the U.K there's no racial segregation in the prisons. You hang out in different groups but they are not based on race, more which city or part of a city you're from.
why lie after you've been out of jail about it? also if he knew they were stolen he wouldn't of tried selling them to a pawn brokers...... you can't believe everything you hear but just cuz he's been jail don't automatically make him a liar.
he also admitted he was a super liar lol... common sense says, if someone wants to sell painting, why would they ask you to do it, lol.. deep down he knew it was stolen
Gambit he said they got wire taps and other stuff of evidence against him. I doubt they just get him for mentioning them on the phone. He's definitely lying
