Yeah I know I asked my Dad years ago he bought his home brand new close to Imperial Beach. In 1972 for $38 thousand. I told him how much to by a house in Coronado right down the Strand off course not beach views. He said probably another $20 thousand more. His Morgage was $285 dollars a month. My Dad passed my Mom is still their great neighborhood. 😂

Anyone know the address of that $7.9m Fairbanks mansion? And $7.9 million for that in 1993 is absolutely insane even for that time and today.

yes! it's 17215 Camino de Montecillo. used to visit a friend at a (much smaller) house nearby and recognized it

The Gagosian mansion was demolished and a bigger, fancier home built on that lot.

lol is like freeze in time like in early 70s..interesting , but location & views is awesome BUT i am pretty sure whoever buys it gonna do a meager remodel as cost in millions, inside & out everything design & looks is like half a century old
