Ya'll realize when people say "write" or "writing" that doesn't mean it has to be physical paper an pen. If a nigga say some shit and you repeat it in your song, he's entitled to publishing. If you use a rough draft/reference track, that person is entitled to publishing. If I go in the booth and hum a fucking melody with no words and you come behind me, take that same exact melody that had no words, and add words then I'm still entitled to be listed as a writer.
