Thank you for showing our lovely and beautiful country. Before it was one of the peaceful country in the world 🌎 and it will be again in the name of the Lord.
Thanks for the video. I am currently in LIB. My last visit was 1987, long time. Liberia has experienced a massive change, although very chaotic in many areas, there are certainly many beautiful things about my country and people. The beauty of the place and people is second to none. Due to my age, although my health is good, unfortunately I do not plan on settling in Liberia but, LIB will see me every year for four months until I'm too old to travel. Thanks for the video.
Greetings from the United States. I’ve been doing some research on Liberia recently and find your history quite fascinating, especially since most people in USA are never told about it. When I see footage like this it’s just sad and makes me think of what could’ve been if Samuel Doe wouldn’t have destroyed your country. High walls, barbed wire, dirty everywhere. This neighborhood looks so bad. It’s a tragedy what they did to William Tolbert. Liberia would be a much better place if he was still alive.
Americans are never told Liberian history by who? Does America tell you about Croatia? Burma? There are free libraries all over America. If you don't know, it's because you don't want to know.
@Mango Elephant. Well for 1, we are never told about Liberia in school. We never hear about Liberia on the news. I’m 44yrs. old and I didn’t know Liberia existed until last year. My best childhood friend is black and even he didn’t know what Liberia was when I asked him. His mother did know about Liberia though. She knew everything about your country’s history and we had a long conversation about it.
@@Samuelfish2k you never visited the free Library. That's laziness on your part not the school. Schools teach you to read but it's up to you to go to the library to get books to read. I bet you don't have a library card at 44.
@@Solamor-ug9eo not to rain on your parade, but that's Liberia, where the bourgeois black elite took everything and oppressed the indigenous people. That's what those two civil wars were about. Find any person named Tolbert and they have the riches which are missing.
Thank you for this video I felt like that too very very drain when I visited just this August 2022 like you mentioned I do have faith and I see great potential for the country my sister said to me next time my visit will be much better since I have been in Liberia for sooo long Liberia is indeed a beautiful country , thanks again.
Most millionaires in Liberia are not Liberians. That’s why , cuz they just want to live in a good enough safe area and make all their money and send back to their country
Vision estate offering homes...but how can a non Liberian citizen purchase? I think the letter of the law is that only black CITIZENS can own land. Is that inaccurate? Please correct me if so Or is it a lease for non citizens? I do not care much for common practice(e.g. if it is common that non citizens are sold land) I am asking about the actual law
@@7Fields16 Right - they 'own' it but is it backed up by law? In other words, if a new administration came in and started enforcing the laws as written, would they lose their land? The original purpose of Liberia seems to be lost and folks want to just give the country away now for a few bucks. At the least, they should be on leased land and not freehold
@@Koiva232 Yes. It is owned by the people who built it. If they are leasing the land. It is another thing. Lands are private in Liberia. The government cannot just take your land after a new government replaces the others. The laws for Land are Americo Liberian and African base laws.
Liberia has once again opened it up where one can have dual citizenship. That way you can buy something. I know several Liberians who keep me in the loop.
There is nothing like 3rd world broda... Wat we need is improved and sustained services for better quality of life for d general populace... ...and because of capitalism, we will for sure continue to have such disparities in our daily living/lives... Good job on d video and commentary... (Please avoid negative connotations and shed a positive spin always). Thanks again...

Bro please, my exgirlfriend was deputy minister and she told me Weah didn't pay for 7 months. I grew up in sinkor before coming to the state at 18. The new Liberia should be places like grand kru county and Maryland and Cape mount. We should get out of the city. How many people has job
Oh yes , Vision estate is almost sold out , but I’ll be making a lot of videos about it I can send to your email all the info also U can just email hello to this email and I’ll send u everything visionestateliberia@gmail.com
What about the disenfranchised, poor and needy who don't have a voice? Inadequate educational opportunities and the lack of basic needs to say the least. I only see the "haves and the have nots." Inequality of the distribution of wealth and services. The grabbers "grab and go" within their affluent settings and the poor die because they cannot afford and do not have their basic needs nor human rights. The inhumane treatment of the citizens is not inviting nor encouraging. The poor, elderly are forgotten because the rich are living in :Sinkor". Clearly no middle class. They live in mansions and the poor live in huts... next to these mansions. Sorry situation! I'm not impressed. A nation with non-accredited universities on every corner is a failure. The "blind leading the blind" unfortunately!
Clara town, jallah town, old road so many. Go into the residential places like fuk excuse my French. Jst complete shit and ain’t nothing being done about it
Most people who are Millionaires are foreigners living in this area, so, their mega mansions are in their home countries ... they live in a comfortable place like this thats better then most places
@@liberia-totheworld9628 Ok I get it bro but I pray that Liberia will eventually going to be great like it uses to be The place is still gorgeous and I can see a lot of developments in ten years time!! God bless Liberia 🇱🇷
I was about to ask the same tho. I mean these people are making that much money in Liberia while even in America here you can’t make half of the lay a month.
I have someone on Facebook I met years ago that I send money to twice a year. Not a lot but I been wondering about him because he posted years ago some dead children and people dying (looking like they were getting killed). IDK hopefully he's not a bad person.
