@@Renee_egan haha I believe its a fancy Breathe Right strip. I'm guessing it allows better breathing and better oxygenation throughout the day, so his thinking, workouts, everything are better.
I'll be completely honest. Affirmations and looking in the mirror and telling myself who I want to be, even if I wasn't currently there, was one of MANy things that helped me. From this, I built inspired action to do stuff to create a better future. But affirming to myself 24/7 that I can do this and I will win, got me to the point where I always feel that way without even saying it. I love Alex, and consume his content religiously. Just one of many perspectives for anyone reading this who uses affirmations.
I was just talking about this yesterday. I believed in ME even at my Lowest and it was this constant self reminder of my identity and purpose that pushed me to where I am.
I just realized I have been letting people who don't try keep me from trying. I let their negative vibe keep me from moving forward because I was buying into their nonsense. Thank you. I have needed this!
Lewis, can you please promise to bring Alex back on your show? He’s absolutely phenomenal in his mental frameworks and perception 🍀🏆🙌🏼 He’s helped me so much!
Not really no. It implies that you can only be confident once you achieve something. Meanwhile to achieve something you must be confident you will do it.
@@nieczerwonyinteresting take... i could lack the confidence, but fear the consequences of lack of action to do the work. with that fear (motivation) i can achieve a particular task. in that scenario, it was the consistent action that made the achievement despite the confidence. one might say it was the fear that helped the achievement.
49:00 change your environement you can do better even without get to become better. its very true. James Clear write something about that read his blog article: Motivation is Overvalued. Environment Often Matters More. It's the quick win you can do today. Just clean your room. Dedicate a room to be work ready. Prepare your gym bag and put it in under your desk so that after work you just go to the gym. Prepare gym clothe and put it in from of your bed so that in the morning you just put them and go for a run. Remove the excuse. Think about it we were programmed to act that way from school. Books are made like that they guide you... So create your own guide to have the behavior that your want without deciding. Deciding is the expensive cognitive task. We are programmed to go with the flow. No recreate your won environment to go with the flow of your own success ( better body better mind and better habits that foster business success )

When a baby fall he is laughing . A baby is not afraid of failling his loving parent find his failing cute, and a baby is not saying I am not supposed to walk. It's the same. You can get rich fail and just smile let the world know that you are cute. And get back up try to get rich again.
As somebody who is in exactly his 7th month of building a business that hasn't quite taken off and quit a very comfortable job to do this... this one spoke to me.
Alex should be brought on as a mentor periodically just to share his thoughts and his journey. The man is solid metal and all he talks is brass tacks. Solomon wins every time.
I think he’s over simplifying the work output. A person who feels anger, shame any negative emotion isn’t going to have the capacity to put out content equal to someone who feels and thinks in a healthy self loving way. The work won’t be equal.
Hormozi is like a the exec summary of Warren Buffet, Tony Robbins, Russell Brunson, Ray Dalio, Ryan Holiday, etc. If you listen to him, you get the essence of all the other great ones too.
"winners focus on the goal, loses focus on winners." I've got a better one: Winners focus on the game; Competitors focus on winners; Losers focus on themselves.
Wow, at minute 47 - powerful advice. It made me think... and actually realize that's so often what I'm doing - hmmm, this tip will stay with me, and I'm going to implement things faster. Great podcast! Thanks! 🔥
“To become the best version of me…I have to fail.” 👏🏼 ☝️ this - 100%. I feel this. **not saying go out and try to fail - but I definitely get what he is saying.
I truly personally relate to this. Resigned my job. Told few about the decision, only those whom I've proven to be true. Decided to be jobless for 1 year, but use that time to build myself for the future I see. It was a trying time. I gave up status for this future I believed in. I was mocked amd guested at cause I barley could feed and so I was looking skinny. Well 6 months later, my breakthrough came, 1 year later, I celebrated the decision. Got my dream started and doing that which I truly loved... Alex, everything you said is True, and surprisingly, you are even describing to me now, some of the traits I was exhibiting/still practicing... Thank you So if you're reading this, I'm a proof that it's possible to re-invent your life and self Much love from me, Fam!
Wow, Lewis you really respond to so many comments I am so impressed, may I ask, how many videos do you try to post per week or month...thanks again for all that you do!!
Can we stop with the fear title, They don't want you to know this. If someone didn't want you to know, why has the information always been in front of us? It takes our attention to it, that makes us aware of it. One could call that tuning yourself
so amazing..some of the things discussed really hit me in the best way possible..thanks for sharing..i totally agree that outworking oneself can change everything 😊
"The hard work is in accumulating the undeniable stack of evidence that you are who you say you are. And the first person yon have to convince is you." 👋🏽
I found it interesting that Lewis has started trying to limit or divert people's enthusiasm and encouragement for 'greatness', instead orienting them towards contentment with their current situation. The School of It's Okay Where You Are? What's doing here, Lewis?
🙌🏼🙌🏼 love so these videos with lewis and alex The are few things that were discussed that Ive noticed myself but maybe the biggest is that when how taking about people's feelings get hurt or a comment triggering them Ive noticed it in a sense of it seems to trigger people if that self doubt about what ever is the trigger already exists in them on some level, whether conscious or not. Which goes back to the fear of judgement; which I would also say may be more accurate to call 'avoidance or fear of rejection, and not being accepted' and evidence of the opposite (if whatever the trigger comment is) would absolutely resolve a negative emotional reaction to something, atleast for myself, and a gross generalization.
You have to build a proper business model. It serms the one you are operating with currently doesn't serve you. - buy business model canvas and business model you
As in interviewer, Lewis is one of the best I've heard at processing and adapting to what the guest says in real-time. I do wish he had asked new or deeper questions, though. Alex has given these same answers many times. Still, fun to listen.
