It's the exact same as any group of celebrity fans. It's a love/hate relationship for a lot of people. They are fans because they want to BE like the person and get annoyed when they aren't living up to the impossible image of perfection that the fan has made up in their minds. That said, celebrities and streamers complaining about the hardships of their privileged lives will NEVER go down well among the normal people.

I worked in d2d sales for 6 years. There was no way I could work more then 4 days a week at that job, I would get burnt out. The thing with d2s sales was that the days where I put in a lot of effort and still didnt get good sales i got pretty drained. You can say a lot about d2d sales, but you can't say it is not hard, like 50% quit after their first day and the rest rarelt worked longer than 1-2 months before they gave up as well... I do see his point.. Different jobs affect you differenty, don't get all the drama about this tbh 😐

Imo no matter what your job is most times you get out of it what you put in it. To me streaming is no different, the harder you work, the more rewarding it is but you still have to put in the work. However, in streamers defense they invite viewers into their lives and understand that comes with its own stress. Most of us clock out go home and we leave work at work.

Nursing Assistants work a draining, thankless job. Literally bathing people and cleaning up human excrement. The thing about streaming is its low-key like being a celebrity. You're in the public eye, especially if you're streaming on the level of Hassan, Asmon, etc. They get recognized when they're out even by people who don't directly consume their content. Everything you do is under the microscope of public scrutiny, and some people aren't built for that.

My favorite part about convo like this is when sometime ago asmongold said something along the lines of "i chose to take a break" if the people working at his local taco bell were just randomly choosing to take breaks, especially during a day he goes there, he would be raising hell in the internet. its so HARD when you can decide the days you work, how many days, how long days, when taking breaks, how long and how often you take them, all the while not having to worry about making the rent and what can you afford to eat. Edit: his video defending billionaire daddy's dearest Hasan who grew up in the global .1% was the biggest L he took in his entire streaming career. big enough to immediately erase 90% of the Ws he has had over the years.
@Akeche
@Akeche 5 месяцев назад
He runs in the same circles now. Hell, Asmon "complained" about that streamer practically showing her tits who started the "totally not naked" meta. But you see in videos he's hanging out with her. The drama is fabricated for clicks and views.
@tihonannenkov4114
@tihonannenkov4114 5 месяцев назад
First of all, every self-employed person can choose to take a break. The only problem is that you loose money by doing so, which is also true for streamers (especially so since taking a break means losing viewers). And it's kind of crazy that people can't separate an argument from the person. You don't have to like Hasan to agree with some of his takes. It seems like a lot of people have this black-white mentality, where you either agree with everything a person says or nothing. The funny thing is, I am not even a streamer but I can imagine well enough that streaming is more socially exhausing than most of the jobs I had. Most people have no idea how exhausting it is to talk in front of an audience, for hours.

I watched it, he wasn't defending him. All he said was "I don't think hasan actually ment it the way people are taking it." @Antares2
@Antares2 5 месяцев назад
There is nothing more annoying to "normal" people when streamers, celebrities, royalty or other privileged groups complain about stuff like this. Sure, they DO have real problems and challenges... but we honestly don't want to hear about it. It's tough, but it's true. It's so annoying to hear people like Asmon and Hasan, who can at any point just take their millions of dollars and ride off into the sunset, complain about their daily lives. These people have more money than most of us will ever see in our lives and a job that a lot of people find very tempting. Sure, you have to put on your best face and keep interacting with your audience, and I get that it's hard to do that every day, but complaining about it won't make it better. If they hate their daily job, they have the freedom to simply quit on a one-second notice. They can switch careers or even just put their feet up and relax in a their big mansions for however long they want. Most of us wage-slaves NEVER have that opportunity, which is why takes like these are never well received.

Piker hasn't ever worked with his hands a day in his life. He's a spoiled rich kid playing socialist. Of course he'd think being watched by the internet is harder than something he's never done. But in his case he has it even easier than you do, Blue. He's not "entertaining" people for nine hours straight. Maybe he'd be tolerable if he were funny.

You say stupid shit like this your gonna get hit with a reality check. No matter how much good or bad you think he's done, what he said was 100% wrong, and trying to argue against what he said by pointing out he's "raised money" is a fallacy, it carries no weight in the argument.

why are ppl so touchy about this subject? I can see it being really hard to become a millionaire streamer, not to mention all the business/content/social media side of work that they have to do outside of streaming. Assuming becoming really good at streaming takes a lot work and effort, like any job would. Why can't the top streamers say they put in more work than the average joe? You wouldn't have disagreed if a top sports player or top chef said their job was hard? This gatekeeping on which jobs are hard or not is so weird to me...

I get being a streamer can be mentally draining, especially if you're trying to string along a lie - we all need some privacy, or putting on an act/persona, and trying not to contradict it or break character, but there are plenty of jobs that are both simultaneously mentally and physically draining that make streaming laughable in comparison. My previous normal job, injuries were almost a constant, claimed friends lives, left me disabled, but I guess compared to Hasan his is rougher. 🙄

9h of something nonstop is always kind of exhausting, except sleep. Try doing nothing at all for 9 hours straight, it's also crushing. Most of the people arguing with Hasan is because he said it was worse. On a bright note, congrats on being debt-free.
@tihonannenkov4114
@tihonannenkov4114 5 месяцев назад
I wish that people would stop making such disingenuous reacts. Whatever you think of Hasan, he, in fact, did NOT say that his job is harder than anyone's. Why make up stuff? Hasan says enough stuff you can legitimately disagree on or argue about, there is no need to lie. He said that it is more socially exhausting than most jobs and you don't have to be a streamer to understand that speaking for hours in front of an audience is, in fact, very draining. I welcome everyone who disagrees to try making a 4 hour long stream and speak without any pause. Think about how giving a presentation is - and now imagine giving a presentation 4 hours long. I learned it the hard way that talking to people is exhausting and stressful: I was a soldier, logistician and a teacher during my life. Beaing a teacher was by far the hardest. It is frankly quite dumb to argue that Hasan is wrong here: because that means that you argue that working as a logistician where you don't have to speak to anybody the whole day long is as draining as speaking non stop in front of a live audience.

This is clearly Blue Squadron just farming views. Hasan is a political commentator who's clip was pulled out of context. Blue doesn't even know who Hasan is and even has to ask his chat for that info... This is just a gross way for a BDO game streamer to try to jump on a bash wagon. Fake, cowardly and disgusting is how I would describe this video.
