George Kamel is doing more for the Ramsey Brand than any other personality on the show right now. If the show survives past Dave it will be on the back of George. Great content!
Love love love the Money Guy Show! They made me drink the koolaid of target date retirement funds, and Ramsey brought the koolaid for debt freedom that runs in my veins. These two shows have changed my life at 27 and I'm so so grateful! ❤
I love both but have to agree with The Money Guy more over Ramsey's rants... especially his hardheaded ignorant advice to NOT take advantage of a company match on your 401K. 100% return on your money is pretty much a NO-BRAINER...
It's simple really. I see Brian Preston (or Bo Hanson), I click. The Money Guys are awesome and I'm so glad to see collabs between them and Ramsey people.
This is what adults working together looks like. Setting aside differences, recognizing both have similar goals, coming together on what they agree on. It doesn't matter that they have different methods to get there. Both are a net positive for their audience. More of this.
11:22 "When you start working, You are a servant to your obligations (bills etc) The sooner you can start saving and investing, the sooner you’ll own your time and own your life, and do things how you want, when you want, and for why you want"
Absolutely love seeing Ramsey and the Money Guy Show collaborating. Have followed Ramsey for many years, and now that I’m a financial advisor myself- I’ve really come to enjoy the perspective of Brian & Bo as well. It’s nice to see Ramsey “embracing” perspective from some others that have some great advice, even if it’s not 100% in line with everything Dave teaches.
The Money Guy Show is awesome. I have followed them for some time and follow a lot of their advice. It has helped me grow my net worth beyond what I thought I could.
Getting there gently with forex trading, getting up to 15k monthly and still expanding while not increasing my lifestyle, my wife and I are determined to make this work
I’m an accountant so I struggle with both Ramsey and Kyosaki who both have a tendency to ignore math and true financial definitions but I’m still a fan because the premises are great, not to mention it’s very entertaining. The money guy show is my #1 go to for solid financial advice that factors everything into the equation. Love seeing the collab.
@mattabid3373 well, depends on what part of personal finance. As Morgan Housel explains in the Psychology of Money, there's a large mindset issue, but math does come into play when you're attempting to build wealth. The "Ramsey way" of snowball debt payment and paying off low-interest home loans may "work," but there is no proof it's better. It's based on a bias of those who follow their plan....like those discussed by Danny Kahneman
I've heard Brian say all the same things many times on his show but I'm gonna keep tuning in to hear them again. You said it, George, he's just so dang likable!
They are two of my favorite people! I took the Financial Coach Master Training course during Covid, I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to take a deep dive into personal finance.
Thanks again George, one thing I'd like to mention is how the words economy and ecology have the same Latin root word, eco, basically translating to home. To me, this shows that to have a healthy home, we need solutions that are both economically AND environmentally intelligent. With this in mind, the Federal tax credit for Solar PV and solar hot water panels is 30%.
I love to see the collaboration with The Money Guy Show. I love all of you at Ramsey and The Money Guys! I wish there was a place for a musician on your teams! 😊
Funny how that question about the financial advisor came out. I actually have a financial advisor and she does everything that I suck at. So she looks at mortgages, insurances etc. while I do my own stocks and investing because that's more where my skillset is. She saves me a ton of money, while I put my time into making it.
Amazing content- that honestly put my heart at ease about not having a financial advisor. My money is lots but really simple. When it's time for a Roth rollover plan, I'll be calling Brian's team.
Ramit never said all financial advisors are a scam. He said being charged a percentage on your whole portfolio is a scam and you should pay hourly or payments for packages they offer.
Great that Brian ( Bo and team ) and Ramsey ( George and team ) get along . His work is great just like Ramsey. Did you get the special transformer tumbler ? 😂
Just remember no one is "self made". its takes a group to become a millionaire because of family, friends, co-workers, and other people who plays a huge role in that millions. Just thank the people around you that made you a millionaire. if you doing this by yourself then it will be a hardship because no one helps you. That why I don't believe in self-made people because every factor plays a role for you to become a millionaire.
