I'm having issues with the valve actuator not working. I have replaced it with a new one but it still isn't working. Should I be able to open and close it with the driving mode button? Or isn't it as simple as that? (The car has the light on the dash and goes into limp mode if that makes any difference)
Nice sounding exhaust guy's, but any chance of hearing it under load on a road test?idle and reving does not replicate on road or in cabin sound, that would definitely make my mind up on one of these....
Hey hello! I would like to know how much the exhaust diameter is? I see they split in two? Are these 2 times 2.5inch or so? Does that flow better than the typical exhaust manufacturers that use one single 3 inch way? And my second question is: when you open the factory valve on the left, is the left side straight piped? Right side silenced? Why does it become louder when left side is opened? Thanks alot! 🔥
Thanks for the comment! Here ya go: 1) It's 3" going into x2 2.5" and it's for clearance and sound. 2) When the valve is closed, the exhaust flows through the silencer. When the valve is open, the flow comes out of the non silenced section. Air flows like a liquid, so follows the path of least resistance! Hope this helps :)

The non-res version is compatible with the factory valve, the resonated version is not ? Is there much difference in volume between the resonated and non-res? Thnx
@@markvanderwardt3345 No problem! If you're looking to order an exhaust, take a look at our contact details in the description to speak to a performance specialist. We ship worldwide!
Mate I began by fitting the resonated version and it was the wrong choice it really wasn't much different to stock. Luckily switching from res to non res only involved switching the backbox so it wasn't too costly a mistake. Non res transforms the cars personality and the sound is loud without being stupidly loud. If you want it louder still remap the car and that makes the pops and bangs noticeably louder again!
I have a gpf model and am purchasing a miltek exhaust from I believe a pre gpf model, apart from mapping the gpf out would I need to do anything else or fabricate with the exhaust or anything like that
Also another thing I have been told to get the res and gpf delete exhaust from scorpion also that has a bigger bore 3.5 Would u recommend that or the miltek in terms of sound

We've done a few of these but haven't taken a video, the OPF is in the position of the front pipe which joins to the downpipe. The GPF REALLY mutes the volume and tone, with the GPF delete, your M140i can sound like the non-OPF models.
@@RegalAutosport Can you just map the GPF out or does it have to be physically removed? Also how does this stand when it comes round to needing an MOT? Cheers.
@@conor9530 Good morning! 1) You need to physically remove the GPF, this can be done with a GPF delete pipe which we can supply. The ECU then needs to be calibrated to ensure there are no check engine lights and to maximise driveability and performance, something we can do too. 2) For any of the GPF/OPF/PPF deletes or cat deletes etc these will not pass an MOT
