I was at the Ipswich game the trouble happened when one Millwall fan was really shouting at swearing, another Millwall fan who had kids with him asked him to keep it down a bit he started giving it "what are you gonna do if I don't" there was some verbal,a bit of pushing and shoving. Then both their groups of mates broke it up and that was the end of it. The next day the papers reported that because Millwall had no one else to fight they all started the fight amongst each other. Not one single punch was thrown If two stray cats have a fight outside the Den the papers report "violence erupts at Millwall
Excellent video, not some romanticesed crap like most historical club videos, all on show warts and all which makes it far more believable and interesting.
That spot on, most working class folks want to own their own business like the lower middle class we are the folks that are the glue that holds the country together. I will support Millwall till I die! MFC & England forever!
I was there. Good ruck in the Tote end. May have had a bit of a kicking but we smashed Eastville and the gas heads before and after the game. Good old days. CFC
Chelsea stayed in tote 20 mins before old bill took them out in a night game in late 70s. Also went round the back of tote in 80s rovers didn't want it. Not saying rovers aren't bad. They did a good man utd firm back in late 70s. But they never did Chelsea. Or Millwall.
If u made an example of the ring leaders .the rest would fall in line . I was made 2 sign on at 3 pm .and clean the toilet floors with a paint brush .5 mill wide .. then a big heavey copper would walk over the floor .and say I thought u d cleaned it .cool hand like with the hole in the ground and the shovel . Borstals were tough in those days designed to break people .
But they didn't break them they mischievous kids into bitter hardened criminals with a hatred for authority and society. Most of the screws in borstal were sadistic bullies and perverts
Youre right. But what did we do? run away to the fucking suburbs. Look at the state of the east end weve left behind! So much for the 'bulldog' spirit. Weve got no one to blame but ourselves man
@@SE16Proud You barricaded yourselves in a boozer when we were on our to the ground, we tossed a wheelbarrow through th pub window and done a few who couldn't get in the pub quick enough.
Rubbish...Tiny was part of the Cold Blow firm mainly white but a few good black.lads....Tiny never associated with lots of black lads at football...even outside of football his main business partners were white...🦁

One of them from that time was interviewed on a TV programme by Danny Dyer, on which he confirmed that if he had his time again he wouldn't have taken the same path as he did, presumably referring to his involvement in football hooliganism. Another was filmed talking about Millwall's pitch invasion at Luton back in 85 describing their behaviour as like animals. Whenever I've seen ex hooligans being interviewed they always seem to have a low view of their former selves and regret all the hooligan conduct.
You are what is destroying football it used to be a working class sport enjoyed by working class people in their own way. Now grounds are full of middle class twats who treat the grounds like another branch of Starbucks they complain if they can't get avocado on toast and if the fans make a noise they go to "footie" on a Saturday so they can tell their mates in work on Monday what real lads they are. Bring back the terraces neat pies and bovril
