...then in my tea-break, I designed and made a manned Mars rocket, a hypersonic passenger plane and a cure for all diseases known to man, it all came out perfect.

Can't say I ever gave spline making a thought, but that was quite fascinating.

So, in fact, Allen is a master modeller. He works at a scale of one to one..

Allen's vids seem to go like this, so i thought I would make an inter galactic space craft so I made all the bits, had one of Tracey's cupcakes and by the afternoon it was made, I was well pleased.👍🤣 Another good vid!

"I wanted to make the frame as authentic as possible, so I brought a model guide and scaled it up.".! After that comment my head started hurting. The world needs people like you Allen, to show that everything is possible.......it also needs cake!

Forget building a bike and engine from scratch, how the heck did he follow a line with the hacksaw. 🤪Most amazing thing to see....ever. As far as I’m concerned, hacksaws are designed to cut wonky lines.

only Allen could build a one off factory GP bike from pages of a magazine using old bits of otherwise scrap,genius has been used and we have run out of words and all that comes to mind is Mr Millyard builds motorcycle art and bringing engineering wet dreams to life,who would have thought a humble shed and a cupcake thief with an alcoholic rubber side kick could make such wonders,so again-thank you Allen for sharing and inspiring!

Absolutely brilliant once again Allen ! The splined shaft on the gear lever is just pure genius ! The finished article once welded and polished is just incredible. Thanks for sharing and I can’t wait for the next instalment.

I'm in awe of your powers of visualisation. You measure and calculate in 3D how to build complex structures from photographs, scale it all up, prepare card templates cut from cereal boxes and make and assemble everything by hand/eye. And of course it fits perfect. I watched this video shaking my head and smiling. Wonderful stuff. Shame poor Greta won't be getting any cupcakes.

Of all the channels on RU-vid I subscribe to, Allen's is my favourite. The level of Allen's engineering ingenuity is simply staggering, especially when you consider what he creates with a file and a hacksaw in his shed. I could watch back to back episodes of this all day. Epic stuff.

Brilliant video again Allen , it reminded me of engineering college back in the 1980 learning all the engineering techniques from the great ex aerospace lecturers , you must teach students a day a week at a college if you can they would learn so much.

All the incredible time and work you do is often hidden in many of the videos. people might get the idea this kind of thing is easy! You don’t do yourself justice. Once again, left speechless at how Allen makes these things! It makes me wonder what I've done with my life! Love these videos, they are very reminiscent of the gentle programming of the 1970's rather than lots of loud, flashy graphics, multiple camera angles and repetition of current trend, designed to stretch a 10 minute video to 30 minutes.

Before Allen's channel, he was an engineering man of mystery and intrigue. His video series of his creations and techniques, show us the real Allen is a really lovley bloke and all round good egg. 👍

Now retired but have been in the motorcycle trade as a mechanic 48 years but my engineering skills are what you could call basic. These how to videos are great because they show people like me how great looking and functional parts can be made at home in your own workshop, am making alloy rear sets for a baby Tribsa project, I say baby because to be different it's going to be a unit Triumph 5TA motor in BSA Starfire rolling chassis done as a cafe racer, nothing compared to the brilliant machines you produce but fun all the same. Hey. maybe he knows or someone here reading and watching his videos and are in to Harley's read and check this one out...........................In Finland there is 3 new Anniv bikes for sale. Brand new and I'm sure it is the only ones in Europe being brand new and here they are : 2007 50th Sporster-----------2008 105th Fatboy---------------------------2008 105th V-Rod all brand new being sold now in Finland. Check out Mikael Hatanmaa on Netti Auto that bike add they have there. These bikes came as moving gods with someone who have lived in California and bought them there brand new so his friend Mikael Hatanmaa are selling them for him. Bikes being cleared already for the customs but are not registered at all in Finland but ready to be sold to new owner. Again.....................THESE BIKES ARE FOR SURE THE ONLY ONES IN EUROPE BEING BRAND NEW. TCB.

Allen - as always, your work is amazing. I, too, did METALWORK and school but the only work my Fizzy had done was me getting is re-sprayed silver. A bike idea for you - how about combining 2 KTM EXC300TPI engines and installing it into a KTMRC390 frame to make a modern homologated EURO4/5 legal 600cc two-stroke, fuel-injected twin or even a 900cc triple? The world needs modern two-stroke road bikes. Best wishes. Peter

Greetings Mr. Millyard, Have you had any failures on your homemade crankshafts? I intend to make a twin 160cc Sachs engine (from two 2-stroke 50cc engines which were bored to 80cc). Everything seems to be following into place, except for the crankshaft. My mind just doesn't want to trust a press-fit crankshaft! To say that your videos are inspirational is a massive understatement. The amount of knowledge and technics which you share with us is priceless! Thank you ever so much. My very best wishes, Leo

11:00 Im-press-ive. Thought that the inner splines would need to be cast or machined. About the only thing on par with Mr Millyard's work would be a Desmo-Hog by another guy. Yup - Ducati Desmocedici Harley -Davidson engine. Oh. there goes my hyphen key. Enjoy the cupcakes.

How do you know all this stuff? It looks so easy. When you explain it like this, I find it possible to predict what comes next, but of course I wouldn’t be able to do it myself. Awesome Allen, cut this, file that, drill this, press that, weld that and.......... jobs done😳😳🤣🤷‍♂️👍🏻
