Here's my question... If we have already found out the value of y in terms of x using Picard's method, and we use it to calculate the value of y1, y2 and y3, then why don't we find the value of y4 using that equation then and there only? Would save a lot of time and effort. And if we have to use Picard's method at some stage during the solution, is it wise to use Milne's method at all then?

U can find, but if in exam paper you are given to use Milne's formula then u would have to do that.
