Milo Art Markers | Brush Marker Review 

I’ve been seeing these everywhere on amazon, never been sure about them. Finally a review on them!

Girl, you just saved me $45. I was seriously considering buying the 48 count set, but after watching your video and seeing the fraying of the nib, I've decided against buying them. 😅 So thanks for this review. It really helped me! 💙

Surprisingly, I really like this set. The colors aren't too bright or earthy and I generally like pale or deep colors. I was enjoy a nice light green that pops off of the paper, so the skin on your girl looks sooo pretty, I love it ❤

These have the same barrel as Shuttle Art Markers. I got the Shuttle Art Grey tones pack with the ohuhu 40 pack because I wanted to be able to mix. At first, all I used was watercolor paper, but it was something like 140lb watercolor paper and it was just like "SLURRRP" to the ink in my markers. My markers were much more enjoyable when I started using cardstock. Of course, I had to make sure to use the plastic barrier that Ohuhu provided in their pack (love that company) to prevent too much bleed-through. That nib was sure a disaster!!! I would almost call that a bullet nib more than a brush nib. But then, my Shuttle art markers have a weird bullet tip that is ALMOST like a really stiff brush tip. I wonder if that's what Milo marketed as a brush tip? Makes me wonder, ESPECIALLY since they are the exact same barrels right down to the bumpy caps and the random hard-to-open markers! 🤔 Knocking the box is SO something I would do. 💀 Anyways, I really enjoyed this video! Thanks for the review.

You should use touch new marker vs the ohuhu marker.

Have you tried prewetting the area with colorless blender? Then the marker color goes on more smoothly, disperses more evenly. Kind of like prewetting your paper for a wet on wet with watercolor.

Ooo luv the unatural skin toness. those are my favorite. when i color i just color in smaller areas at a time so the wet ink like blends together. thats my advice.

Thanks for the tip about watercolor paper, I use watercolor paper for almost everything. And today I found out my markers work better on multimedia paper. Just got into markers and I can't put them down

I have the 48 set of these. They're not too bad. It's hard to get a nice feathered blend on them though but they fill out a big chunk of my collection while I grow my copics. Plus the ohuhus have been sold out forever.

Love that hair, your hair abilities are superb

For me personally, I use the chisel tip to color in backgrounds instead of the brush tip because it covers more areas better. I do it in a fast circular motion

I want to know if i can get the same result of color blending if i use canson mix media paper?

Fraying already? Dang it! Btw when you were wondering about the fraying of ohuhu markers I have an answer for you! Ohuhus fray after around 3 years! I do art everyday and my initial ohuhus are only now starting to fray

But what about the sizing in watercolor paper? Wouldn't that help the markers blend and not get so sucked up because the sizing in watercolor paper allows the water to not get soaked up immediately so that you can blend with watercolors so wouldn't it do the same thing with alcohol-based markers?

This color scheme is also the same for the hobby lobby brand markers. They’re a bullet nib instead of brush, But I find the bullet nib on these markers are bigger then the normal nib. Also they let out more ink.

From the close up of you using them I’d say there fraying at the tip because the tip is the only part bend which is causing it to rub against the body causing the fraying

Can you review the Croma Lite brush markers? Theres no reviews for them, I just got mine and I think they're good but it's also possible that the nib will fray

How many pages does a milo marker fill ??🤔 Perhaps for the backround you could draw on a plate with the marker first and then use alcohol to thin it out and draw it on with a brush

Since you mentioned it, I would love to watch you do a review of the Shinhan Touch Twin Markers! I think it's the closest analog to Copics in the market.

I have some of these. I wanted some brush tip markers and found these. I got them for my birthday when i was 11 I am 13 and still have them I do not use them often because I Mainly use watercolor.

You should review the superior brand markers

I got them in bullet nib I think they are pretty good but the caps do not match the color at all I wish they did but it is very hard to make a even tone I love your videos thanks for the review🦃❤️🦃❤️🦃❤️my turkey pets gave you some love

For your patchiness, for large areas it’s more necessary to layer the markers. So like, let one layer dry a bit and then go over with another layer. The patchiness will happen no matter what marker it is.

4:25 I thought the blue gave a really nice touch of an atmosphere!! That was probably the best part, personally about the piece! I think the color selection of the markers could be very better. There’s like 3 reds, orange and greys that are similar. They market barrels remind me of Azure (Walmart) markers! I have some and it’s the same barrel!

Great video to show that not all the more affordable alcohol markers you may find on amazon or other sites are the same. Sometimes it feels like they can all be the same ohuhu markers with a different name but that’s not the case🤷🏾‍♀️ your art was still really nice tho!

These look exactly like the new Master’s Touch alcohol markers by hobby lobby. They are probably the same marker right down to the like circle bumps on the markers. Unfortunately you can’t find them on their website, at least last time I checked. I just stumbled across these at the store. They come in like 6 different sets.But they are cheaper at Hobby Lobby with the 40% discount.

I think it’s the material the nib is made out of. I see the same thing with Studio 71 brush tips. They aren’t like the smooth rubbery type tip like Copic and art n fly. They are almost like spongy. They truly suck. And it’s disappointing because if they had the nice type nibs they would be great markers. I’ve said it before, try the animation set for the Finecolour brush tip markers 72 colors. They are my fav along with art n fly (both brush and fine tip), promarkers, and obviously ohuhu. Finecolour brush tip markers have out lasted my copics. I’ve had them for over two years. Only one has dried but due to me falling asleep drawing at night and not putting the cap on. They are the only markers besides ohuhu that last so long without drying and the brush tips on the Finecolour are both flexible and they are same type nib as the copics are made of. Not that spongy type like milos and studio 71. They have awesome colors and the animation set has a nice range of skin colors, grays, and all colors really. I’m telling you, I have so much in common with the things you like and I have so much confidence if you try these you will be blown away and they will be one of your favorites. I want to buy them all over again if they ever dry out lol.

Hey, I need help from you guys. My mom want me to make for her. It's for bag design. Of course, she want to pay me. She want me to do art about "using less Plastic" but she want more of an abstract art. But I can't really do that cause I'm more a cartoonist person. I don't know what to make. Any advice? Try putting paper under I heard it helps even it out

also i like to point out that the color selection does in fact look a bit... well 'muddy' and the fact that the nib frays so quickly tells that it was cheaply made -_-... i think the only thing milo markers are good for is thier barrel design... it's kind of... nice? ^^; also remember, when drawing chibis think of only one word: simple and i'm done 🙂

Honestly I got my ohuhu's At about 38 for 80 markers. Of these are a dollar per marker, and also fraying that bad, it's not worth it at all. (Also I think the new ohuhu brush markers are still cheaper than these ones soooo)

Some art always have this problem, getting marker on the side of there fingers and it take like 500 years to get it off with Ohuhu and other
