I could watch Milton Resnick paint, walk around the city, listen to him talk about any subject or nothing at all, for hours. This is like the nourishment of food and the company of a brother, for a painter
Pat, a woman, came from that old past that said a woman needs a man, or men must dominate. Some of that may be good, right, or whatever, but the truth was that Pat did not need any of the men of her life to be good or relevant but it may have given her something to lean own at times. Milton however needed Pat very much and leaned on her til the end. She gave him permission to be and do him. I believe that both Pat and M I it in were few of the real painters. The rest were craftspeople, draghtspersons, or designers, which had value, but we're not first and foremost painters.
