Wow! Thank you. Excellent information especially of the flooding. That's my biggest concern here in Port St. Lucie, and for my son in Tampa. Thank you. Thank you. Ah, oh, I'll surely miss your tornado warnings. That's the scary part. Love you.
Glad you found a way to post! Enjoy the vacation and thanks for everything. I’m in Citrus County north of Tampa and I’m pretty concerned about this one
Thank you,, Evan 😢 I am in Charleston for a visit and needed to know when I could travel back to Mobile. Looks like Monday is the safest day with the least traffic problems. Safe travels to you too!
Tampa is main medias favorite word to use for dooms day storms, hurricane could be in the south pacific and our networks will immediately say Tampa is getting hit. TY for this update
I am praying for everyone in Florida I lived in Florida for 10 years in St Augustine and I did not have to go through any hurricanes back in the day but it seems like they are developing faster now and hitting the warmer Waters and the steering currents take it right to the peninsula or as we know it Florida there's going to be a mass Exodus out of Florida because people can't rebuild every couple years
PLEASE someone help! I have an elderly aunt and uncle in Jacksonville, Fla. They don't want to leave, but I need to know if I should go get them! And I live in Surfside Beach, just south of Myrtle Beach in SC , and my mom is on coast just north of Charleston. Will it be safe to bring them all up here? We have so many family and friends that were severely affected by Helene in NC and GA! Some ok, but lost everything, some ok but w/out power, some still missing in NC. Not trying to sound paranoid, but after Helene, we're scared! 😢
@miaflowers3572 yes, we have been praying! My neighbor's elderly mother lives outside of Asheville. Thank God, he was able to go get her and bring her here before the hurricane. They got word that her house is gone, along with some of her immediate neighbors, and a good many of those neighbors are missing! Many of them are also elderly. It's absolutely devastating! My family barely survived Hurricane Hugo in '89. We had a 20ft tidal surge in our tiny village. We lost literally everything but the clothes on our backs, and we're without power for 5 months! I know what these families are going through, and it breaks my heart!
Hopefully it weakens. But the earlier strength may create a significant surge that won’t dissipate as fast as the wind. People south of the centerline will get hammered. It’s awful.
@@PafMedicI’m literally in the hurricanes path and this storm could blow up all my real estate deals this month. Would you please shut up - I will be making jokes if I’m submerged in ten feet of water
Wow yesterday everyone was hyping up this storm being a big deal now it's a sissy storm 80mph winds ain't nothing. -Edit To anyone who thinks I'm joking around Tuesday night into Wednesday wind sheer and dry air will destroy milton rapidly it won't be that strong upon landfall watch out for storm surg and a little rain maybe a down tree or two and u will be just fine.
Are you serious right now? Surely you are joking right? In the event you are serious, it is GOING TO DEVELOP INTO A STRONGER STORM. The 80 mph is it's current state. It will NOT be an 80mph storm when it hits. People should prepare for a CAT 3 minimum with potential CAT 4 and direct hit.
And never forget about storm surge. it's the water that will finish anyone caught in storm surge. If they issue a mandatory evacuation, leave depending if you are near the coast.
@@SummerBreeze4022 not joking their saying the dry air and wind sheer will destroy the storm at landfall severely weaking it I just say a meteorologist showing a wind gust chart for Tampa Bay and 81mph at landfall was as high as it went.
@@cincol3r I agree storm surge is serious and easily avoidable if u know it's coming I was referring to the winds! THE storm Will be destroyed by wind sheer and dry air upon landfall I saw a weather man saying only 80mph wind gust for Tampa sure it will reach cat 3 at some point but Tuesday night into Wednesday morning it will rapidly weaken.
