Thanks for this. What a great aircraft model. I'm not to fussed about the external appearance, though this looks great but what I love about Milviz is how they create such a natural looking interior. That and great sounds makes simming much more immersive for me.
Perhaps because it’s more relatable than Concorde and things like the Hawk, this sim package and it’s slew of avionics and other options blew my tiny mind. Definitely a must have for me. Fantastic review as always. 🤗
Hi Chris ... I just took the 310R up for a PIZZA run from KBUR -KSBA ... why does it have an auto pilot? ... ya don't need it ... just trim her up and go ... handles like a dream ... Milviz nailed this bird ... I recommend this bird to anyone that loves flying GA ... ty for the vid and God Bless Buddy
Great video, yep I was thinking the passenger comfort was going out the window during your stall demos! I think this could also be my new fav aircraft (apart from the Hawk). Will deff be getting this one as you say such a lovely plane for sight seeing. It's also good to see the same realism that the old A2A Spitfire started way back in the FSX days. 😎👍
Lovely informative content, great to see you flying in and around Oxfordshire where I spend most of my time between Denham Booker and Oxford. I think the C310 will be going in my hanger soon. Thanks again looking forward to your next review.
Just polishing my card ready for a purchase tomorrow and it certainly looks like something I will not regret. Excellent video as ever, so please keep them coming.
A little advice from an audiophile geek... If you like more base in the engine sounds i highly recommend to use the Realtek Audio Console, it's free and works with the standard onboard audio chips. It has a setting where you can increase the amplification easily and permanently. It helps a lot with engine sounds on the mid level, the extreme setting is hurting when you are listening to voices over time, at least on my config. If you want to up it even further the best solution is Dolby Access, an AI/Smart Equaliser/Amp that lets you enjoy the full spatial sound of Dolby Digital (no special Headphones required, just a decent stereo headset). You have to spend a few bucks in the Windows store but it's basically set and forget and increases the audio experience even with music to a level i didn't experience before on PC. Thank you for your content, cheers! 💙
Excellent video as always! On the mic sound quality stuff, there are VST plugins that can help process some of the rougher sounds, mouth noises, crackles, etc. They're not free, but they'll work in Resolve as well - you can set them up in the Fairlight section. Stuff like izotope's RX plugins are perhaps the most famous example. Also, on the engine sound ducking - if you're recording to 2 separate audio tracks (game and mic) then you can setup an automated ducking of one track based off the level of the other. So it'll quieten the game when you're talking. That's also on the Fairlight page (sorry if u know this stuff already! :))
I played with auto ducking for the first time in my inverted Mach loop video. Sadly the issue with the mic was that I was recording with shadowplay and can’t see my levels. It was peaking and not much I could do post process (with my knowledge anyhow). I’ll dig into some of my other options but thanks for the info, always appreciated 👍🏻👍🏻
@@cgaviator if it's clipping then there are some plugins that'll have a go at fixing the situation - still best not to clip if you can tho. There's a de-clip plugin as part of the cheapest izotope RX suite called "Essentials" (it's on sale for ~$30 at the moment). There's also another called "Restoration Suite" by Acon Digital, I like those too - they're ~£80 but I see them on sale for about the £30-mark from time to time. (I just quickly checked, both those options load into Resolve 17 ok)
Great video and looks like a great aircraft add-on! I got milviz pc6 which I love. I think the additions of the state settings - like rental etc are a great idea. Unfortunately though, I think the market is saturated with GA twin props - I've already got the carenado Seneca and Seminole and just picked up the Flysimware Cessna 414 (which is amazing!), so not sure if I want another twin in my virtual hanger. Plus I was also planning on picking up the JF 146 as that too looks brilliant!
All good choices, and I have them all. Haven’t flown the Seminole much recently but that used to be my go to. Never helped with the Seneca. The c414 is very nice indeed but a bit sad the weather radar is simulated. And it’s a slightly harder beast to master. But the 310 is a Ferrari compared to the Seminole.
The Working Title devs are in the progress of improving the functionality of the stock Asobo GNS530/430 as they have already done for the G1000. It's work in progress at the moment with no firm release date. Looking forward to that for many of the planes that sport these avionics.
I think the rental option, forcing you to properly run through the pre-start checklist without assuming everything is as you left it, is a great idea. I'm going to add that to marginal weather, sun glare and instruments reflecting off the windows at night as things that are as brilliant in the sim as they are annoying in real life.
Yes, some of that may be my nvidia filter settings. With the overcast not helping. The lighting works well in darker environmental but I need to play with that a bit more. But I do enjoy it a bit dark and gloomy! 😂
Great flight, especially "passengers get unhappy with negative G" 😁. I would have liked to see a true "pull cleanly into the stall" rather than just mushing along. Definite buy when in the Marketplace!
So many airplane addons get launched with anaemic, and unrealistic sound-sets which destroy the atmosphere. So glad Milviz have come up with a stonking addon *with* great sounds. I'll be buying it.... and boycotting other addons which don't make the effort from now on. Great preview, thanks buddy!
Hey, My C310 is now sitting in my hanger and it looks lovely and fly's like a dream. A question maybe you can answer, I have a fault on the Fail Ident failure chart on the DME it reads 11.7 under nm, I have read through the manual and cannot understand what it means, any ideas?
Sooooo tempted by this. I am loving all the extras that developers are now adding. Compare these with the default aircraft when the sim was first released and you’d realise spoilt we are and what we can hope for in the future.
Not sure what's happening with mine I just downloaded it, it struggles passed 60 going down the runway, I've taken off once and it was struggling to stay at 100 knots in level flight, any ideas
Now that seriously does sound amazing! Not on par with the Dash 8 by Majestic however both are seriously sharp on the sound quality! I think this is definitely joining my other aircraft in the hangar, for sure! Nice one Milviz. Also superb talk through as always Sir. Really enjoy your vids (as I've said many times before)! A request, if possible because I'm sure you're a busy man when not simming, but how about taking a flight of Hawks through the loop? Could be a fun vid, and pretty sure your community would love to take part alongside. We could even all have the same, or all different liveries, depending on your pre-flight needs. It's just a thought. Doesn't need to be the Hawk either. Use one of the Vanilla aircraft like a Cessna, or the F-18. That would allow more followers to join. Anyways its just a thought. I've not been on much of late (illness), however I the Tutor from Stornoway to Inverness at dusk the other day, and to say the scenery was breathtaking would be an understatement! Loving the Tutor for small hops. Nimble wee bird. Anyway thanks again for a superb look at this amazing bird. Real good vid as always Sir. Thank you for sharing. Stay well and fly safe.
