Their dee was poor. Too many open threes for the Celtics. Giannis was clumsy with some of the plays. Giving up three points before the half and missing bunnies. He still needs to work on his shot. The mechanics don't look right. You can't use Middleton as an excuse. They had enough to win.

It's funny when the series first started no one was talking about Middleton, but now when the Bucks lose the series now it's "They were missing Middleton " Let's say if Tatum and Brown were injured the entire series would anyone care? No they would be saying the other Celtics players need to step up and even if they had Tatum and Brown the Bucks would still would have won the series. Because they're better than the Celtics with or without Tatum and Brown.

Perhaps they could have just kept both of them, dunno, but letting Donte go doesn't really makes sense to me at all...especially considering the defensive side

nothing else could be done as they had to check tatum and dare others to make shots. they checked brown and tatum and had to give up something. it wont help not having their second primary star. you have to be in prime tip top shape with full roster to beat eastern conference teams who always play tough defence. LBJ bossed there because he was phenomenal( 8 years in a row is ridiculous and also missed 2 to 3 times. first 7 years he had a terrible roster). Unlike yanis lbj mixes his game, drive,shooting, jumpers etc etc( watch that elimination game at celtics). that is why he is different than yannis. yannis tried to out-muscle when his jumpers failed him unlike lbj. you can see KD struggling, EMBID STRUGGLING, BEN SIMMONS etc etc. not LBJ he sent everybody packing: the detroits, the celtics, the indianas, torontos. if he had a better support in 2015( injuries), 2017, 2018 he would be undisputed GOAT. i only hold 2011 loss against him( they were leading 2-1 before it collapsed inexplicably). 2013( they were going for 3 peat and roster got washed up) the 2018 against celtics is a testimony to that. he had an awful roster! granted the celtics were young. but he was so good. East coast teams grind you to the ground man! yanis will learn from this.

The only problem for GSW is that Boston is the leagues best perimeter defense, and it’s not really close. It would be a great series but I think The warriors would be a easier opponent than the Mavs for the Celtics.

Great defender most of the time and decent playmaker but not enough to be a 2nd option and sometimes not even a 3rd. Lopez and the rest of the “shooters” on bucks are as inconsistent as Middleton. Point is I’ve seen every star in the playoffs Have a bad game but their team steps up for them especially for Tatum. Can’t say that for giannis. Luka has a case too but Brunson held it down at least.

they kept the core and worked hard. they had athleticism. they had no chance against bucks if middleton was fit. short turnaround is an achiless heel. last year it was lakers now bucks.you need 3 months rest after deep run, otherwise one or the other stars get injured and that derails your goals. other teams who have had good rest make the run( celtics were booted out early last year). SUNS ARE ALSO STRUGGLING. i wont be surprised if they are sent home packing( i mean CP seams exhausted!)

@@jdelgado216 I know but even with him missing I can't justify two consecutive games from Alen with just 1 point, 12% on 3s, Mathews 0/8 and in general an awful shooting performance from every guard.Maybe it could have been closed out in home game 6 with Khris inside indeed but even the previous Bucks win inside Garden was a small miracle.The basketball they played didn't convince.That's why they need some squad reshaping even with a healthy Khris.Celtics have too many protagonists.One day was Horford,then Tatum,today G.Williams.Far more solutions..
