The old head is what my Redmax trimmer came with, very easy to install line on compared with my newer Sthil trimmers, getting different heads, I wonder how this compares to the Echo's?
I bought the trimmer w/ free blower 2 months ago. And new ones come with the easy load head? Man I just miss deals Boss in what way does it cut/preform "a lot" better? Does the new head spin faster? Does the different line you had on the old one vs the twist line the new one came with make a difference? I just trim and edge my own small lawn, doubt I'll upgrade just yet
Nobody answered you on this and I realize I'm we years late but it is a bump feed system like every other trimmer. Bump it on the ground and it feeds out more line
Thanks Boss, did not know Milwaukee came out with this new head...need to get one now...bought the trimmer last spring with special thru ACME Tools, packaged with a free 9amp/hr battery and the blower...great deal...love the cat...what’s the name??
finally a clear RU-vid video for this Milwaukee trimmer head in different sides for see it'll fit to almost every trimmer and also the Milwaukee gear and the base plate under the trimmer head. .. Milwaukee should see that
My randon guess for the metal bar is that it is used to make sure both red marks are in alignment so the string will go through easily. I knew i could count on Tool Boss to have a video review of a milwaukee item ive been looking at getting, keep up the great work man.
I wish it was this easy when I was younger I'm used have to threat it the weed wackers also my family and I didn't have the top-of-the-line stuff Toro they had and black and decker stuff as well the older stuff not that newer stuff I know everything want with that jigsaw I have hedge trimmer came out the same time his lawn mower was a Craftsman gas of course he didn't have electric I hate those electric ones you got to have an extremely long orange cord I love the Toro self-propelled lawn mower when they first came out have the mulch bag because Craftsman didn't I was going to draw back helping him make extra money i hated to use the Craftsman i had rake up the trimmings on the Craftsman I found an easy to use the Toro he did not like people to use it too much cost alot back then I guess you could say it was pro consumer Craftsman was more for the homeowner as far as Black & Decker if I remember correctly but they were I electric not gas i think they where it was a long time ago not 100%
Na ...these are made for professionals ...cant have that kind of stuff breaking while on the job ...i think the average person can place line threw 2 holes and wind it up
