Adam and I headed out on Lake Michigan one flat morning in July and had a great time catching King Salmon. Fasher fly combos in natural colors as well as Magnum spoons were the go to.

We sure are. Here in Wisconsin we call them King Salmon but they are truly called Chinook Salmon. I think the slang all started because the Chinook is the biggest toughest salmon in Lake Michigan so it became known as the King of the Lake..... the King Salmon.
