I am a huge fan of milwaukee lines of tools but i went with knipex on this one, it a better tools sharper and the bolt cutter is a seal deal. With the Knipex you just put in and cut. Time shaver.
I had a similar multi tool of Japanese manufacture. It did not hold up after repeated use as pliers. The jaws sprung, then it became useless as a stripper. The business end of the pliers was too far from the fulcrum point, causing the jaws to bend a little after each use. Will be interested to see how the Milwaukee holds up over time.
I would say they are competing with the Klein Heavy Duty Pliers with Crimper K12065CR which look very similar to the Klein tools Model# K12055SEN. Great idea, thanks!
I like both versions 6-in-1 and 7-in-1 of these pliers I will get another pair if I lose them or break them (as far as breaking them I doubt it). I love them next to Klein all purpose pliers. Great video sparky have a blessed Christmas you and yours.
I don't like the grips on many milwaukee pliers . Like Knipex red only grips but not a fan of the cushion ( red and blue ) Knipex. Menards house brand Masterforce grips are kind of like Milwaukee but even thicker
Looks like a nice tool. Lots of features. At first I wonderef why Milwaukee jumped to hand tools but they do have good offering and competitive pricing.
I have a pair of these and they are nice. A good compromise if you don't need to use your 9" Klein's. It's good to see the channel building back up. You have been greatly missed.
Hey Sparky - Looks like Milwaukee has done it again by making a new tool - seven in one tool replaces others in the tool belt - less to carry - have to get this one .
nice to have that #8 hole. the blue handled ones don't have that. looks like the tips are a little slimmer, too. I prefer to make the hooks with the tip, but I use the 6-32 cutter hole in the blue handled ones. still, the only tool it replaces in my belt is the stripper - it's a better stripper, but it doesn't replace the lineman's or needlenose, completely.
If, like me you are used to the blue handled Klein strippers, watch this SOB! It’ll pinch the bejesus out of your fingertips stripping wires because of those huge plier jaws! Ask me how I know.......
Both versions 6-in-1 and the 7-in-1 version are to me great pliers. All in all good pliers and Klein tools version are excellent for the money spent as well.
Glad to see they fixed the latch, my needle nose pair has a cheap plastic latch which doesn't work. Kind'a narly when reaching in my tool bag, ouch there it is!
Looks like a good garage toolbox tool. Not so much a tool pouch tool. Strippers are much better at stripping wire than a multi tool. Sticking to my klein strippers.
I always remove spring because it won't slide in apron/pouch unless you lock it and when your using it its not convenient to lock and unlock. Also I prefer all my tool to operate the same way using 2 fingers to open skinners/Side cutters etc.
@@SparkyChannel ok. So it seems that AC90 in Canada is , in fact, aluminum armored. Which is not what you Americans would call AC. So does it cut the aluminum armored type? The more you know...
@@warrengraham I made you a short video that will answer: Can The New Milwaukee Combo Pliers Cut MC Cable?: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JH6ruMyesXo.html
I bought a 18" Milwaukee bolt cutter online thinking it was USA made, but it was made in China. It cost me $75, and the blades have a small gap between them !!!!! One mattress spring cut later and I can see a small dent on the blades. Really disappointed by the quality + price from this " big name " tool maker.
