All those tools and you had to have Home Depot cut the 1x4! All of that stuff looks new. Looks to me like you have tools that you don't know how to use.

The tools look brand new because they can’t be used for their intended purposes. They are non functioning display tools I got from a Home Depot that was going out of business. They even have the lead weights in them to make them feel heavy but they are 100% fake. You are absolutely right - If they were real, I wouldn’t know how to use them anyways. The batteries are empty aftermarket replacement shells I got off Amazon and then I plastered Milwaukee stickers all over them. They are bogus and just for show. Even the entire PACKOUT wall is a shameless Chinese counterfeit I got off Alibaba for $75 shipped - shhhhh 🤫 don’t tell anyone 😉 It’s a mystery how I’ve gotten through life this long being clueless the way that I am. I really don’t know what I’m doing. I need professional help.
@@MinhNguyen-ot1zg I don't have to know you. You make a video showing all of these tools, but in the video you state that you had Home depot cut a few pieces of lumber for you so you could install it on a wall. You used the wrong fasteners too. My read is that you really don't know much about the tools you're using.
@@ammerconsulting who cares if he had depot cut it? Not everyone has a truck so they can haul around lumber. Sure he could have cut it in the lot, but why not just let them cut it for free?
I had batteries scattered everywhere. On my kitchen counter. Garage. Stacked up on the table. I was actually having a hard time keeping track of them all. This is the perfect solution for me.
Man, that's a thing of beauty. I wish I had the money to get more of these. I have one of the tool hanger things and am hoping to add more slowly as time goes on but, damn this is beautiful.
That’s one way to do it. I got all my tools including the non-powered handtools, one at a time. You can start with something and expand from there. You’ll be surprised how quickly your tool collection grows!
Im in the process of changing my entire shop in my basement. Im putting 4 packout cabinets across the top. I have the tool stations the mini shelf’s the plier holder and screw driver holder. I want so much more but only have so much space. Once I build my post frame home and shop. It’s going to be and insane build out
I’m sure you’ll be super happy with the results. The cabinets are quite nice. You might already be aware of this, but you’ll need four large wall plates to mount the four cabinets. You’ll still have two horizontal slots per wall plate to be able to put the tool stations and shelves and tool racks. The cabinets use four slots across and three slots down if that helps.
@@MinhNguyen-ot1zg yes I am aware. Or if I don’t need extra I can use a small wall plate I have a few of those kicking around. This is the best solution A company has come out with.
@@jamiealite I was so happy to see them come out with a wall storage solution. When I saw that ryobi had one I knew it was just going to be a matter of time.
I thought the same thing when I saw the Ryobi system - as you probably know, Ryobi and Milwaukee are owned by the same company. Of course you know Milwaukee isn't going to let Ryobi one-up them! I'm sure DeWilt will come out with their version soon!
Thank you! I happen to have this blank wall on the back of my garage which seemed like the perfect place. I actually could have done eight plates instead of six but I figured that was a bit much. But at least I have room to grow if I want to.
You have a lot .I like wall system you have .I have prity. Much same but with floor stuff and my tools filling Milwaukee pack out are from flex power tools
Thank you! I have looked at videos of the Flex line. The monochrome color scheme is very interesting, very eye catching. Don’t have any personal experience with them though they seem like very nice tools.
First Ryobi killed it now Milwaukee has a sick set up too. Mark your days Dewalt!! As an electrician, I have Dewalt tools and getting tired of them dragging their foot!
Don’t worry, DeWalt will come up with something. In order to be competitive they all copy off each other - apple copies off android and vice versa. Ryobi and Milwaukee are owned by the same parent company so it makes sense. When I first saw the Ryobi setup I was very impressed and was thinking to myself that surely Milwaukee will come out with something soon. They’ve really taken the PACKOUT concept and run with it. I imagine dewilt will have their answer to the Milwaukee storage system soon, if it’s not already in the works. Of course, besides the battery holders, nothing is stopping you from using the Milwaukee system with your dewilt tools.
Minh is on the money. Techtronic owns both Ryobi and Milwaukee. If you follow things closely, you see that they use Ryobi for testing (read: proof of concept) and then use what they learned to release Milwaukee versions about a year later. Backpack chemical sprayer, track saw, storage wall. You name it, if you look back the Ryobi comes out a year earlier. Only thing I disagree with is DeWalt catching up. They may do something to try. But Ryobi and Milwaukee are running shit right now with regard to innovation.
@@ILruffian I never thought about that but it makes perfect sense! Since the parent company TTI owns both of them, they can use Ryobi as a test subject for their marketing and if it sticks, then Milwaukee can invest and even learn from the mistakes of Ryobi. Now if they would only come out with a Milwaukee pressure washer 🤔
@@n_a3522 They copy off each other, that’s common with all manufacturers. If Ford adds a feature in their cars that everyone uses and loves its just a matter of time before all the other makes get wise and come up with their own version.
No problem! I hope it gives you some ideas. I’m not sure what your pegboard is sitting on, if it’s on bare studs I would probably consider putting plywood up as a foundation point to Mount the wall plates.
Thank you! This is only been out for a few months, so you haven’t missed it by much. The large wall plates are $39 each and I think the tool stations are like $49. It won’t take you a whole lot to get started.

In the shop I modified one of the packout drawers into a power drawer I can charge stuff like lights and I got packout mounts on the service truck in the tool boxes and the bumper which is basically a work bench so I can snap them into place and go .
I agree it is quite a lifesaver. The ease of transitioning between shop and truck makes it great! I love the modularity of it. Great idea on turning one of the drawers into a charging station. Don’t even get me started on the lights - I have many, many Milwaukee lights. They are quite useful! DeWilt doesn’t even hold a candle to the Milwaukee lights.
0:02 Thank you. I spend too much of them to abuse them so I try to keep them in nice shape. They have marks, smudges and scratches on them but I think the RU-vid video compression algorithm does too good of a job of smoothing out the colors.

Thank you for your comments! I’ve never tried to put any other type of paper towel rolls in the holder, but these are blue shop towels made by the Scott paper company. You can find them in the automotive section at Walmart. I was able to buy mine in bulk at Costco. They also sell them online on Amazon. They are absorbent and they work better for Shop use versus household paper towels, which tend to be more absorbent, but they also fall apart easier.
Thanks! I live in Norway, but I actually found the right Scott’s Shop paper at a car-care shop here. $9.50 a roll…😅 But that will at least fit perfectly! Thanks!
@@JanMartinMelum Wow for $9.50 a roll I would be afraid to use them up! Here in the states, they can be found for under $3 a roll and even less if bought in bulk. I like the wall system and may get some pieces. I just want to know how does anyone keep tools so clean ? This isn't one of those people who just like seeing nice new tools hanging around and making it like they know their stuff. I probably have most of the tools in this video and I take care of them but after just a few days of actual use by a contractor they are at the least dirty. I want to see videos made by real on the jobsite contractor's. I love the Milwaukee cordless line and think it's the best tools on the market.
I use all of my tools but the secret to keeping them clean, as far as when they get greasy and dirty is to use goof off or spray nine. It works wonders on the plastic.
“I’m not sponsored” but I have 10 grand worth of brand new tools hanging off my wall. I’m a boiler maker- our service trucks have a fraction of that for a crew of 4-6 guys working out of one truck. Either you’re rich, you are a salesman for Milwaukee, or you robbed your local hardware store.
😆 😂 I am definitely not rich - this was an accumulation of tools over an approximately 5 year period. I think the MSRP of the all the items shown are probably closer to $5,000 than $10,000. I got lucky a few times with the “buy this battery / tool, get this battery / tool for free” promotions at the Home Despot. I am an average guy with an average job. I have a penchant for DIY, especially for things concerning automotive repair and maintenance. I am not a mechanic, but I can watch the RU-vid video and save myself thousands of dollars rebuilding a car suspension, wheel bearing replacement, valve cover replacement, cleaning EGR system, etc. The money I save I put towards the tools that will make these jobs easier. During the time I’ve owned both my cars they have never been to a service shop for any repairs. I do all the maintenance on my cars. There have been times the Milwaukee impact guns and ratchet have gotten so greasy and oily that the red plastic parts were completely covered. Cleaning them with goofy off makes them look nearly new. Some batteries have become broken and detached at the top cover but still work fine and other batteries have splatter flung all over them from whatever tool I was using. Do your 4 - 6 guy crews buy their own tools or are they provided the tools by the company?

As a contractor I try to take care of my tools and I’ll tell you I don’t have the time or wherewithal to sort out my gear like that and in comparison to yours…my tools are trashed! Admittedly though, if I don’t have a hammer within reach, my impact gun makes for a good substitute.
I don’t use my tools in any official job capacity. I do perform a lot of maintenance on my cars and the tools I do have been laborsaving devices. I rebuilt a front end suspension with nothing but handtools and my hands hurt pretty badly afterwards. Just an FYI, unless you have a personal articles policy specifically covering your tools, you’re not going to get much money out of the insurance company to replace them. Typically tools and other miscellaneous items are covered up to 1.5k (sometimes even less) on homeowners policies. Great question. All the mounts have either a van 🚐 icon or a van icon with a slash through it. 🚫 🚐 I just examined all of my mounts and the only items with an approved van icon are the m12 and m18 battery holders as well as the paper towel holder. The shelves, hooks, accessory cups and tool stations have the “no van” icon. The small and large bins don’t say one way or the other nor does the cabinet. Of course nothing is stopping you from using any of the mounts in a van but due to the jostling nature of a vehicle’s suspension you can’t reasonably expect things to stay in place by using the non van approved items.
