god they sound way more pleasing to the ears than impacts! 🎧

Sure are. Although an impact driver is much smaller, much lighter, won't break your wrist, won't throw you off a ladder, won't jump out of your hand and go scooting across the roof... So ear pleasure isn't everything.

Hey mate. These videos are primo. Do you think you could do a 165 mm circ saw review? Would really love to see how they are all comparing these days.

Very nice. Couldn't be closer. Extra long side handle on that Hikoki seems awkward though
@UnacceptableViews

yea but these drills on their low gear will try to snap your wrist without long handles
@ccbowers
@ccbowers 3 года назад
@@UnacceptableViews So the Milwaukee handle is too short? The difference is pretty significant.
@UnacceptableViews
@UnacceptableViews 3 года назад
@@ccbowers it's probly not too short but the longer the handle the more control you have. a short handle can be dangerous if the tool grabs and spins free from your grip. much less likely to happen with a longer handle
@ccbowers

@@UnacceptableViews Well, there is the trade off then. One thing this brings to mind is that all of these tools should have anti-kickback features. In 2021, most of these drills should have this feature, at least for all but the budget models. If the Milwaukee's isn't too short, I think Hikoki's is too long for most typical uses. I have the newest Makita hammer drill and it has a handle length probably closer to the Milwaukee one, but perhaps slightly longer. Despite being a newly released model in the US, it still doesn't have anti-kickback protection, which I even see in the Kobalt XTRs drill (despite being very nice, isn't really a high end brand)

@@ccbowers the aussie model i have DHP481 has a cut off but in low gear it doesn't kick in as quickly because the gear ratio doesn't load the motor up enough. it's handle is about 14 inches long.. however with a decent forstner bit or driving large coach bolts it will cut out in low gear but it approaches the danger zone before it does.. i guess it's a fine line between cutting out too early and not having the power to do the job and being dangerous. i have the american version of the 5 inch brushless grinder and it has no electric brake like the aussie models do. i think american models seem to lack some of the safety features that other countries have.

Milwaukee wins driving and drilling wood and metal, HPT wins drilling into concrete and masonry. Long story short.

That milwoky should be much FASTA than heikoky. 36v × 4ah = 144w 18v × 12ah = 216w
@antonio3736
@antonio3736 Год назад
Those would be watt hours which would mean doing more work for longer. The hikoki experiences less voltage drop due to the higher efficiency the higher voltage can afford the tool putting them on par
@i1bike
@i1bike Год назад
@@antonio3736 in the end, it all depends on the power of electro motor. If you put massive electro motor and massive gears in a 10v cordless drill, it will destroy any 36v drill that has minny electro motor with minny gears. Just look at that milky-wolky stubby ipact driver, it crushes even xgt makita. Simple, bigga motor mour pauwa XD
