Thank you for the video. My family and I are looking at staying here (or at their Ueno East apartments) later in the year and this video gave us a really good look at the apartment. The hotel mobile phone is a really great idea too!

Thanks so much, yes I loved that phone! No more hanging around the laundrette! The other Mimaru hotel was only a block over if I remember rightly

Thank you so much for making this video! Our family of four will be traveling next May and it is so difficult to find Japan family travel videos with teens and not little kids. Trying to pack as light as possible so things like laundry facilities and bathroom facilities are so important for our planning. One of my kids also has celiac. My girls will be 15 and 17. I can’t wait to see what else you put on RU-vid!

I'll be there next july. I read on hotel website , there was not slippers, instaed I saw them on your video!

They definitely had slippers and lots of other things that you could get from the reception area!

Providing slippers (and many more amenities) is standard and so to say systematic in Japanese hotels.

Hi, do you remember how many minutes walk to the restaurants and grocery store to buy food (milk, eggs, meat, etc) to cook? We are planning to stay here next year. Thank you!

I’m sorry no, but I think maybe around 300 per night? It really depends on the time of year and the day of the week. I would do some shopping around on the third-party hotel sites like hotels, combined, booking.com etc
