Awesome video , am planing to be in Barcelona July 2016 . Do you mind if I ask you how much was your trip & how long you stayed . I plan on staying 3 weeks but don't know if that's to long . How many days would you recommend .

3 weeks in my opinion is way to long! But I think it depends if you like super tourist trips ☺️ we were there for one week in July and that was more than enough !

In my opinion, that's waaaaaaaay too long! I would actually recommend you stayed for at most 4 days. It depends on how you wanna spend your time there, like do you want to spend time there as a tourist or as a citizen. If you want to live as a citizen, stay for 3 weeks if not, you could always do day trips to other cities and come back to Barcelona and stay like 2 weeks or don't stay 3 weeks at all and take advantage of the opportunity to travel and look for cheap flights or train rides to other places as other cities in Spain, France, Italy, etc.

Why you didnt show l'Eixample, where most locals are, Rambla Catalunya( not les Rambles) or Passeig De Gracia? They are the real heart of the city...you almost only showed the downtown area, which is very immigrant and particular...Barcelona is not this, its like going to New York and only showing Times Square and China Town.

Spain in general is AMAZING! I did my semester in Vigo, Galicia (north from Portugal) which was so pretty. Stayed a while in Barcelona and it's beautiful, although my friends living there said it was quite expensive.

Rouge Lips Yeah I've heard that too! I'm also a bit worried about the whole 'fiercely Catalonian' vibe they give off... I can understand it but I can't speak a word of it lol so I wonder if I would be at a disadvantage kind of culturally... :/

QueenOfAmber I think if you understand and try to speak a bit (the basics), they will appreciate it. With the students and the younger crowd might be easier to mingle than with the older people (though thats generally the case anywhere). The time I was in Spain I felt pretty welcomed and they get super excited if you show interest in the language. I do have to say though, you're going to meet a lot more international students than Spanish ones (in a friendship sort of way), since you spend more time with them in activities and such.

+QueenOfAmber First of all, if you don't like Catalonia,our language, or our culture , why do you come to our city? It makes me so so sad to hear that, not a very kind respectfulcomment...😔 If you want to ho to Spain, you have Madrid and many other cities for that. Why do you choise Barcelona? Also , everybody speaks english everywhere, so no worries about that.

For the next time you go to BCN: I don't really recommend you to bathe on the Barcelona's beach. It's not really clean. You can go just 20 min away in train and that's way better :P

How long ago have you been on Barcelona's beaches?. The water and sand are currently absolutely clean and plenty of public services.
