Even though it was stated that Jeffery Joyce Yang (Who is Welt’s adoptive son BTW) has a adoptive mother who red-headed lady with a drinking problem and exceptional driving skills in the Joffrey Joyce Yang character description in HI3 vol.2 Artbook, clearly confirmed that Welt and Tesla are married yet people are in denial because if Tesla and Enstein are stated married all of the sudden it’s not a big deal. Considering all the heat guys always get because of the "male gaze" bullshit in gaming and media in general, it's not even remotely close to the sheer thirst of female content creators. I have nothing against yuri or character preferences and enjoy reaction videos of people being excited over the trailers. But it's been by far more female content creators over male ones where I just closed the videos because they where just obsessing and drooling over the characters to the point of disregarding what's even going on in the footage. Way more sexualising and objectifying than guys who are always accused of it.

As a woman myself I feel like I want to switch to Caelus. The Firefly scenes and entire storyline fits better with him and he has way better animation. Stelle only works for goofy moments ngl.

I share the how dare they sentiment because with the new story quest we literally get to see firefly be a badass from the start of the bomb cutscene and we also get to see her being in love with the trailblazer towards the end of the same cutscene partnered with robins 4th song had I never seen the sun as background music my point they are hard selling the romance in this cutscene and firefly shows a side of herself that even makes us the players want her as a girlfriend

On a serious note, I cannot comprehend why would anyone freak out over the fact that Hoyo is letting both versions of the MC get the spotlight and showcases them interchangably, giving all the power to the player to experience the actual game with your prefered avatar at the end of the day, and craft their own preferred in-game narrative that way, that doesn't contradict any canon, as there is none. YOU make the canon as to which MC is the right one for your experience, as other players do for their own. A trailer doesn't influence anyone's experience (well, it really shouldn't anyway), making her tweet very unprofessional, and downright silly, to put in mildly. instead of talking about "mah gae fantasy" like a loud minority likes to do, why not talk about Mihoyo's switch in their last games, from character driven storytelling with stakes and personal growth, to transitory adventures through places and characters that do not really influence the MC in any major way nor stick around to justify being written to begin with (at least from what I've played form GI and HSR, I am by no means caught up, so I could very well be wrong to some degree, feel free to point out how wrong I am, as long as it's civil and spoiler-free). I bring that up, as both HSR and GI have been advertised as "go to X place meet Y people", and ZZZ is just New Eridu, it seems. Makes me wonder if they are going back to their GGZ/HI3 roots of grounded, or at least limited, locale, allowing for deeper more meaningful characters and story. To be fair to Mina (I try to give people the benefit of the doubt when possible), when Mina she reacted to the animated trailer she was happy that the trailblazer didn't appear then as well. She didn't specify which version of them then either Her opinion on the shipping bait with Firefly may have changed since the time she was talking about wanting Firefly to just be a cute girl she can date. I still think she's WRONG that the trailblazer appearing in this trailer makes her character weaker, but that's a separate thing entirely.

Honestly I still love Mina. The yuri brainrot may have gotten her real bad, but when I compare her to other English HSR streamers that I've watched, she's one of the few that I'm genuinely entertained because her reactions are generally gold and she actually gets the story of HSR when she isn't being a sopping wet cat.
