I felt they sabotaged Physicx set as they knew he would clutch the win once he busted out his signature power moves. A great battle nonetheless. Has there been an intense battle like this since then?
Mind 180 has amazing individual skill, but what mind 180 didn't have in this battle, or more didn't care about imo, was the little choreographed transitions that Rivers crew had. Battles like these are meant to focus on the crews working together. Rivers crew lacking in individual skill compared to 180, doesn't deserve the hating that they're getting.
@woodyfly And a bboy is more than understanding the term "Style head." Yes, toprocking + footwork is the basics of bboying, so without it you cannot be a bboy,a true bboy would know these answers to these questions: " Why am I dancing"? "Where do I wanna go from here?", "What is my goal?" "Why do breakers roll up their pant sleeve? Knowing the answer to all these little questions and being being able to ask yourself questions time and time is a proof of being a real Bboy
@FreshToTheBeat Battle strategy. Lilou and Flexum did it to Morris by sliding under his flip. That's all part of the bboy battle. Just read up what Alieness says in his book or watch how Lil Rock or Flea Rock battle. It's all part of getting at a bboy's psyche. Lose your temper; lose your psyche. Lose your psyche; lose your ability to focus. By the end of the battle, they still shake hands in respect. That's what it's all about. So, if you hate it, just don't do it when you bboy.
Yea, gotta give it to US on this one... Casper was crazy and Milky was on fire in that first set in the first part; if Physicx did more Korea coulda pulled it out, but great battle no matter what... it ain't about who's better, just enjoy the crazy sets.
Which one is Physicx? I only know him when he does his slow bent 90s, like I know Born from his entire amazing style. Born, doesn't abuse power moves and flows with the beat, love it, one of the best around.
Have to hand it to Mind 180 man, they were amazing. I'm a bit disappointed in Rivers though, I thought they could do much better. They're commando's were good but Mind 180 just kept the pressure on. Great match, but I didn't see much of that good ol River's style, instead I felt they just dished out a few power sets and retreated back...
@woodyfly Every good bboy should be a stylehead. Powermoves, footrocks, freezes are only the genres of their movements. Like Kevo does a lot of powers in his runs, I would say hes a stylehead too.

it seems by hearing the mc people of Mind 180 consist of different crews in one. they can never be like the korean bboy crews team that sticks together.

If they didnt do that, Rivers would have given a much better ( and wen i said better i mean BETTER) performance .. RIVERS win this for me. So far the Best Bboy Battles watched . Thnxx!
@woodyfly what do you mean he does not to flashy moves, you didn't see his jack hammers? how about when he was against squadron with kmel and smurf, he did flares, to airchair spins. Style heads can do "flashy moves", they can do whatever they want, you can't just claim that they're only doing "style" by just looking at a youtube video.
this wasn't the first time mind 180 smoked them, during the cypher battle too. haha idk why bboys are super biased just cuz their fav crew lost or w/e. hearing physicx this born that rivers this and that. both rivers and mind 180 are dope but im not biased on any battle.
@TheSharingan123 You must definitely not BBOY or else you'd understand. Casper is a stylehead, he's 90% style. That means he does not do flashy moves that people like yourself would find amusing. BTW, his quick toprock set was sick. I wanna see more of that 'drunken boxing' toprock, LOL. Shit was sick, especially his drop.
