I know!!! Such a bad habit of mine! The guy even told me to check the cases whomp! The good thing about this one, I would have taken the cases regardless just to get more GameCube cases and/or hold for finding the loose game. But I really need to check the cases!!
I think it really depends on where you are because that one is the first one I’ve ever seen out thrifting. Plus, there are degrees of rarity, is it as rare as Go Go Hypergrind? No,, but it’s definitely more rare than uncommon titles I would think. Either way, like you said a really, good pick up! :-)
You found some good stuff, but im always thrown for a loop with certain collectors. I am closing in on 1500 games but im always selective on getting games I will actually play. So its always odd to me when i see vids of people picking up bass fishing or wii pets. Like no shade or hate but it always feels like buying up everything is borderline hoarding. I can't help but think of all the money you could've saved towards other things if you werent picking up shovelware/old sports games or even just save on shelf space for quality games...again no shade or hate.
I agree. As someone who used to pick up anything I didn't have, I eventually ran out of room. I'm left now slowly selling the games and things I will never play. It's a ton of work, and can be overwhelming.
@ryandann9362 yeah I always will go for quality over quanity. I just can never see a situation where you wake up like "I want to play some madden 2003" or "I'm really in the mood for truck racer." worst is most gamestores won't check it so it feels like you are just holding onto trash
I totally get what you're saying and I agree with you. I think for me personally, it comes down to 1) wanting to get content to make silly videos, 2) having a loose goal of wanting to get a complete set of games for the various systems, 3) and I enjoy the thrill of the hunt; so while I could pay 100 for a 100 dollar game at a game store, it isn't the same as finding it on the cheap - and while that hunt means I'm not always scoring big and I'm sometimes picking up more common stuff, it also introduces me to lots of weird and random games I've never even heard of before. It's also surprisingly fun to have friends over for game nights and give them thousands of options haha - I am constantly shocked by what they want to play, including some of the most terrible shovel-ware ever (Busy Scissors on Wii got played somehow lol). But on the flip side, I had never played any DDR games and one night I played 6 or 7 of them with some friends, because that's what caught their eye 😂
Great point, Ryan - I know I sold a ton of duplicates I just get randomly here and there at a yard sale this summer and just setting up and selling for a weekend was a lot of work - doing it full time would be so draining.
Thank you so much! You just made my day! I’m doing all the editing myself, learning as I go - so if you watch from episode 1 on through, the videos get better as they go hopefully!
next time, just double check the CDs really quick. i cant tell you how many times i have found dreamcast and playstation 1 games mixed in with music CDs
I got alsobthe exact same Wii zapper with link crossbow training. Its opened, but minty box and same thought cool display and part of Zelda collection 😁
Blows my mind how people want to get a better deal when it’s already a good deal should’ve snagged that 5200 for that price sometimes you have to pay up for some things more than others you probably won’t see another 5200 for a long long time in the wild
Im so jealous on your Wii red. I missed out on same good deal and condition couple months back. Wanted it som bad to stand next to my Mario collector edition with Dvd inside aswell😢
Oh interesting! Honestly, I never watched Transformers and didn't have the toys, so you could put a bunch in front of me and I would just have a blank stare 😅 - but good eye! I'll try to keep my eyes open for Transformers!
Freaking old people doing that type of stuff drives me nuts. Like stick with stuff you know. There an old dude that obviously doesn't work and goes to the goodwill I go to but he goes everyday. I've seen him with pokemon cards, Legos, a mario figure cib and much of the things I collect. Drives me absolutely crazy. I collect that stuff. He has time because he doesn't work.
So funny you mention that, today I got to a yard sale just as an older gentleman was buying all 200 games the guy had - I was like woah dude, could have left me some scraps 😂😂
@@ElDabstroyero blah I'm only 32 lol but we grew up on this stuff. I get it though but I think the worst part is that older people buying video games is more unexpected than people our age lol.
You probably overpaid a little on that X-box one stuff - but grabbing the red Wii bundle was a smart choice. I think as time goes on that may only continue to get pricier and pricier.
@@ElDabstroyero It will once Xbox game Pass is more overpriced, some game files are massive around over 100gb of data. that's why they are deleting and delisting games. The ones that are going up in price are Xbox OG and 360 as the Xbox Store will be deleting to make space for Xbox One games.
@@ElDabstroyero Also if your going to collect Xbox one games check to see if the data is on the disc, because some games are not fully on the disc. That means people who play offline won't collect those.
Nice finds today!!! I got an authentic copy of Pokémon heartgold today!! Lol I love how ur car was going off in the background 😂. Also question what flea markets do u recommend in PA
The car rave was wild haha. Congrats on the poke-pickup! Hometown Market (weds only) is usually fun, I’ve had good luck at Jake’s Flea mkt too - some foreshadowing for next episode maybe haha ;)
