When it comes to the writing and recording of the albums, it's the singer,Vessel and the drummer, II. Vessel writes and records all instruments and vocals except for the drum parts. My man, I am new to Sleep Token as well. I warn you, I heard "Take me back to Eden" less than a week ago and I CANNOT stop listening to it. I mean it. Like I no shit transcend somewhere in my brain and I know im enjoying the song, but when its over, I literally feel like I didnt listen to it. I cant explain it. Hopefully you wont have that, but man Im excited for you to hear it. Im subbed up and I slapped that damn bell like it was Charly Murphy (RIP).

I’ve been a ST fan for a few years now. If anybody asks what genre ST is, just say yes! Lmao This is what we lovingly call sex metal. It is definitely baby making music. All their music is this way! YOU WILL DEFINITELY LOVE LOVE LOVE THE SONG GRANITE. They are genre benders❤️

Great video - Sleep Token is on another level, no doubt. You should check out Animals as Leaders if you haven't already. Tosin Abasi is a genius and the music will make your head hurt, but its totally worth it!

Not sure if this is your first taste of Sleep Token but “the vibe keep switchin” is right for sure. Almost every song. So unpredictably predictable. Talent across the board from vocalist and each instrument. Creative and blends metal, pop, hip hop, and more. Most excited I’ve been about finding a new band in as long as I can remember.

Musically genius. However, with that said, and quite possibly gonna be the most disliked comment on here.... I'm still on the fence with Sleep Token. Can't decide if I like them or not. Vocally amazing, instrumentally amazing, writing is next-level, progression is genius. There's just something that doesn't hit my soul like other musical groups. Hard to explain.

I can see how it can feel pretentious and how the whole lore can seem hokey. What I respect is the pure ability to make me vibe. And how they are just masters of so many genres. The fact they can reproduce this live also speaks to their high quality. But you can’t compare this to Tool.

I respect the fact that while you’re on the fence about them, you seem to have given them enough of a chance that you appreciate their talent and recognize the lyricism! I feel like so many people hate them just to hate them so it’s nice to come across someone who actually tried, if that makes any sense 😅 And as far as persuading you to join our cult (I say that jokingly😏), may I suggest listening to their entire discography from start to finish? If you haven’t already, of course. Especially the 3 albums beginning to end. As I’m sure you’ve read everywhere, they absolutely tell a story that you might connect further with since you appreciate the lyricism. Also, seeing them live if at all possible could totally connect you with them on a whole new level! And if none of that was helpful, I still completely respect that! I tried 😅

@@bnharmon this is great, I love the community. I will continue to listen to their music. Every time I hear a song for a 2nd or 3rd time, it seems to hit differently. I guess this will just be one of the times I have to force my soul to accept it.
