Carol, What an amazing take on this song! I have watched tons of reactions to this song and your take was by far the most compelling of anyone else. As soon as you said it, it all made sense. The depressing lifestyle, the unhealthy habits, that lack of care for her looks, etc. and especially when she had her epiphany "I can't die. I have lots I want to do" which ties it all together. She was fighting for her life at this moment, and perhaps the take-away is that we all need to be fighting for our lives every day by addressing these deadly habits, patterns, and choices. Life is precious.

Hey Dennis! Thank you so much🙏 I figured NF songs always have deep messages and with the methodical way he portrayed the story visually and lyrically, when you pick up the subtle details, it makes sense and this conclusion suddenly dawned on me at the end lol and really anyone could be drowning in this toxic lifestyle without even realizing it until some traumatic experience wakes us up and makes us appreciate life more.
