Mind ControL reveals the reason why he got kicked by Tundra Esports (zai, MoonMeander & Pure) 

So unfortunate for MC. Many criticize his stance of not wanting to work with moonmeander and zai but his feelings were completely valid. He must've gotten overwhelmed with the introduction of new people in the team, taking on the managerial roles, in the middle of the tournament. It's true: more people, more voices. The team itself wants to contribute and be hands-on with the in-game decisions, not just the coach, so with the addition of new people, MC must've felt not only overshadowed but also undervalued. And it's not like the team is underperforming; Tundra is playing fairly well, in fact. If they really thought it was necessary, Tundra management could've at least thought about hiring these new people AFTER, not IN THE MIDDLE Of The Tournament.

Imagine being promised by your boss that if you join, you'll get to lead a team, mentor others, build team play, strategies, and make all the final decisions. You get to build a blueprint for the ultimate winning team. Now, suddenly, your boss puts three managers above you. Worse, your boss doesn't even provide clarity on what you're supposed to be doing now, and all those things you were promised are slowly chipped away. Your team won't listen to you anymore. I'd leave too if I had any dignity.

Makes sense cause in terms of camaraderie and player freedom, despite the results, old Nigma players are one of the highest along with original OG. MC doesn't want to deal with so many shenanigans, but that's pretty normal for other organizations especially in China and SEA.

Sounds like they were trying to have Zai do the NoTail and Ceb mentor role when they brought in the new OG team. But that made a lot more sense with OG because none of them had a ton of top tier dota experience. But on Tundra everyone’s pretty damn seasoned outside of 9class so that’s just a weird dynamic. Sad the team looked potentially fun

basically shows you how important it is in life to be able to say no. Always be willing to walk away. Not when things are hard or go wrong but when things are done differently than what you signed up for. MC is right. Step 2 and 3 might have been taken after he didn't say no in the Pure case. It would have been a signal of power to Tundra Management and might have kicked him, but they wouldn't have tried step 2 and 3.

This just show how mature MC is. He's willing to take the hard route to take off mental stress. Good job MC! Good luck on your next chapter mate!

Be think out load, MC said the truth and being the kindly leadership and brings along with the team, might be move towards a bit? I am not sure how Tundra organization thoughts, but when your team is involved in players who had multiple achievements, just like TI winner. For the Pure situation, it might be the case that MC is unfamiliar with the newer carry centric styles that teams play in. Betboom, Spirit and GG have carries that are yapping throughout the game and are involved in calls and decisions. Considering Miracle is a relatively quieter player, MC might not be used to this type of play style.

Teams and his expectations didn't met. Good for him staying true to himself, better for everyone involved.

Everything is about expectations. That's why you don't deceive people. MC did the right thing. Nobody should tolerate this kind of shit! When you promise somebody X conditions, you can't just go back on it and change things freely as you want, because at this point that is not what the person signed up for. Imagine going to an interview they tell you you are going to work standard work week for X amount of money and then you arrive at the job and it turns out you actually have to work 12 hours instead of 8 for half the money. No thanks lol. To me it looks like Tundra just wasted MC's time and were hoping they could twist his hands into agreeing to something he'd never initially agree on. It's on them.

MC massive support, my favorite player. CEO or a manager that doesn't support and work out issues is just doing a bad job. It sounds like it was a dictatorship in Tundra "my way or the highway" approach. Hope you find a team that will listen support and grow with you MC! Let's be real tundra appointing Zai as general manager is shady af. It's like "hey Zai is free rn so let's snatch him up before other teams do. Uh-oh we have full roster so let's just give him a make up role until MC leave".

I think it comes to compatibility. The way i see it, mc prefers the no bs, more rigid team setup. Similar teams i can think of are any xiao8 team, any team with kaka, team secret. Then you have teams like liquid, og and now tundra that aren kinda like an open communication team.

I feel sorry to whitemoon, in the past he was trapped in team with similar environment, in T1 kuku and march are doing some political shit to kick savage and replace them with fellow philipine, now in Tundra he was once again trapped with people who have conflict of interest in each other....

Basically, MC saying that With MoonMeander and Zai joining, there's too many voices in the team and he felt that his role would diminish and would cause problems with the team sooner or later. I applaud MC for speaking it up to the team owners and handled the situation well. It's better to quit early than to cause more problems later. Hope he can find his inner peace and joy as he search for a new team.

Got respect for Mc, it's so easy to just sit and brood until shit eventually hits the fan. But he made a choice, and has stuck with it. Idk the full story, but from what I heard now neither parties are in the wrong, potentially Tundra is a bit due to Pure stealing captain, but other than that this seems to have just come down to incompatibility and I don't think this really paints any party in a bad light.

This is not his fault btw, Just imagine, when you are the captain of a team, but don't have power to speak because there are three people who will interrupt you. So what's the point of being captain? This isn't all about being open minded, but if you are in a team, you will understand how confusing it can be if there are more than two people always chirping behind your back. OG is a team that is more relaxed about this... they can talk, but remember there is always ceb/notail who makes the final decision.

Build up your own team MC like Kuroky builds Nigma. Therefore, no one can kick you out and be the boss forever.

I was rooting for Tundra for MC and Topson. They were classic dota players who were best in their era. I hope MC finds good team like OG. OG was dominating when MC was in. MC is a uplifter, he adds a lot in team on and off the game.

MC makes a valid point: in every sport, roles must be clear for each team member. One captain ensures clarity; too many leaders cause confusion. Team chemistry suffers when there's constant change. The Tundra's Organization neglects these basics. ALSO, to those calling MC toxic haven't played team sports ever in their whole damn life.

I mean it's normal for players and egos clashes, and especially for players to have someone above them, I think I can understand MC stances a little bit? Another thing to consider is MC is an old hat in Dota. He’s a TI champ and he competed w Zai and Moon many times. The dynamic from peer/competitor to now they’re his boss or leader? Zai played the same position (offlaner) as MC and arguably MC is better. The old saying is.. if you can’t do, teach. Definitely broken promises and integrity but the ego of “who’re you to teach me? I’ve beaten you both and I don’t need your guidance” is probably real and valid. Further- and this is a throwback but remember from true sight when kuro said to MC “I need you to play like mad7 (Ceb)” heartbreaking. You could see it on his face. In my opinion that was the moment MC lost respect from Kuro and liquid lost that TI. I’m sure MC doesn’t want to be in a position where he’s told by another offlaner (in this case Zai) “here’s how you should play or Here’s how I would do it” bc that would be triggering given his past.

It all boils down to managing expectation and knowing your value tbh. Did MC prove to be irreplaceable to make such demand? Obviously not, not able to, whatever you name it, he just did not prove it throughout his matches. It's a real world. Not good enough + refuse to cooperate + demanding, I would have also parted way with him if I were Tundra. Good luck to him finding a suitable team though, it was just messed up that both him and Tundra couldn't handle this more professional and let the kick happened during a tournament.

3:05 = Damn... Kuroky has truly broken this man's mentality.. Remember True Sight 2020, about TI 9 ? Kuro told Team Liquid that they should "shut up and listen to me" during the break. I don't think this kind of mentality is good for Dota 2. Like MC said, they're all good players, they're not bad, but even good players needs to be reminded of teamwork and coordination, even synergies of heroes and such. I kind of understand the frustration regarding the 3 things he stated; Pure, Moonmeander and Zai. But if he actually give them a chance to prove something, at least until the end of the current tournament, that these 3 things could work if he had an open mind, maybe, just maybe this kick was unnecessary.

Sounds like MC would fit better in a smaller organization. Some like big companies others like big, and these teams really are like companies. Having managers, coaches and other staff is pretty normal in the top level teams . To me MC comes of a little whiney, and I find it strange he's not willing to give the new organization some time.
