I feel like the Mk. 3 archer would be best, because it switches to a sword when an enemy is close, so it has a sword and block arrows and a bow.

Can confirm, you can become a flame raptor. Press right click to use your tail and "F" to breath flame. Also you can boost forward with shift I believe.
