Great Video! I was getting ready to type out a long comment about how you skipped John's greatest work (Nutopian International Anthem) but THANKFULLY you gave it some 'praise' at the end.

Only just recently came across your insta page (which is fab) so was thrilled to see this vid pop up today! (Thanks, creepy algorithm!) I’ve always thought Mind Games was an album with some incredible songwriting but with middling production (John both fairly inexperienced with producing on his own but also just so unnecessarily critical of his own voice that he hides it in the mix too much). The new mixes really help it shine. You Are Here, Aisumasen & I Know I Know are just such beautiful songs and my top picks. For me I actually love Meat City and Tight A$, they remind me of the wacky B-sides the Beatles used to cover, but I love hearing different thoughts about them. Look forward to more vids from ye!

my favorite part of this Ultimate Edition is the release of One Day (At A Time)’s Take 18, sampled for Everyday Chemistry’s Anybody Else

I think Paul McCartney has had a much more consistent post-beatle career and discography, being at his peak with Wings. His albums are more rounded, more cohesive and polished. However my John Lennon’s playlist is twice as big as Paul’s because I just love John’s solo songs a little more. So, for every weird, uneven, bizarre, album John made, there’s a bunch of songs I really like.

I got the album MIND GAMES when it came out -- it came out originally around the same time as BAND ON THE RUN - you have to remember that around this same time Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin. etc were putting out some of their bet work - so at the time - Mind Games was not considered that good an album - I liked it because i love John Lennon but even i had to admit it was not that good compared to what Paul had just released and those other bands releases - so it's kind of funny to me how there is this big re-release now of the MIND GAMES album and how history is re-written and the public relations teams hype it up and if you tell people something enough times they start to believe it these days - most of John's demos are better then his actual records where he put way too much echo on his voice and often the lead vocal is not master quality - as if he would go with vocal takes that were not up to par

11:20 Oooh, How I Love that Old song. There's more evidence suggesting it was about his old pal Paul. Paul writing: "Dear Friend" just before John's Mind Games "Im in love with a friend of mine" is my favorite line. Then we have the biggest clue Paul McCartney / Dear Boy: "I guess You'll never know Dear Boy what you're missing" John Lennon / I know (I know): "I know what I was missing, but now my eyes can see"

Dear Boy is about Linda's former husband, not John Lennon. Paul said as much. "I know," John's pleads to Yoko during their separation.

Hello Girl. I love Your Job, but I would recommend putting more Energy into your words, and I know I'm kinda Deaf, but I struggle a bit to hear you. Just that. Love and kisses!!!
