From the audience’s perspective, divining a die sealed in two containers seems to be impossible. Technically, we could ask, “Why even use a die or even limit the range to 1 through 6? Why not just ask someone to think of any number they wish and reveal it without using any props whatsoever? As you know, with any effect, there’s good, better, and best.
