It’s hard to get a lot of teaching done on the very first class, especially with a bunch of students like this lot. I assure you that you’ll have a lot more sympathy for him if you see the kind of things he’s had to deal with in this classroom. He was also very lenient with them last term and too accommodating with their shenanigans, and that’s why he thinks he’s failed - he’s not been professional enough and working them hard enough (that’s not to say he’ll succeed in his goal this time). Certainly not all, and perhaps it’s debatable whether most, but I’d say more than just a few students have learned and improved quite a bit from where they began. Professionally speaking, he’s not the best, or even very good, but I think he’s competent, when evaluated in context and not just by whether his students passed a standardized exam. Personally, he’s so endearing, maybe a bit too endearing, and I love him!

Cultural inspiration, is when someone embraces things from a different culture, and tells people which culture its from. This ISN'T stealing, and everyone appreciates this.

They're also non Muslim Arabs who have Arabic names.
