Filipinos around the world don’t have any clue these beautiful sceneries do exist. Kumander Daot, you deserve an award from Philippine Tourism Board. Thank you for featuring Mindanao, what a natural beauty!
yeah... For only being a Vlogger for less than a year, He has got so good. Drone flying.. vid editing.. It takes quite a bit of knowledge, skills and abilities to put out such a quality Vlog. ;-)
I' m a follower since you began to vlog, a bit strange how I can understandibly get trough to a Londonair deep and fast sliding tounge pure English talking vloger,,,,but I enjoy you partially finding time to explore what we didnt see being local people. Like what Islaw say, you truly improve driving your drone, keep it up!,,,wait for more
When I first arrived in the USA, I will always get asked where I was from and when I described my childhood village " our house was on the beach surrounded by mountains' they thought I was exaggerating or crazy. I guessed they are ignorant and never traveled in their life. They can't believed such place existed. Thanks for showing these beautiful coast and mountains.
You will be the next Sir David Attenborough 😊 I love the way you tell the story. And you know what ? You talk to people , you don't just talk ,you converse with them. You are not a me,me,me person in the csmera , you don't laugh and laugh, You dont talk and talk and talk that they love the sound of their voice , some vloggers are, and hugging the camera. 🙄 Well done to your lovely drone , like a pro Kumander Daot 😊. Greetings from Ireland .
wow nice, the intro, the slow, dramatic, up beat music at appropriate times, the panning after talking. tha balance between just narrating then actual video of your self talking, the drone shots at the right time, the banter with your friend at the right moment when there's a lull. just the cinematography, faces of random people. nice facts when narrating. etc. etc. you should be a travel show host in national geographic. very informative, i know Mindanao is vast and beautiful, but i didn't know how vast it is until now. why go somewhere else to look for beautiful places when there's so many gorgeous places to see in Mindanao. btw in downtown cebu we also have that siren sound every night for as long as i can remember. excellent job kumander. made my day. more please.
Living in a built-up area. I could use the fresh air of the mountains and all those trees. I can not wait till we can all get on a plane and travel freely again. Also nice to hear the history of the place
Lebak and Kalamansig I used to stay there for while in the late 70s and early 80s its a beautiful place. Little has been improved due peace and order issues but now, the rough and rocky road is under improvement and some sections were already paved. I wish it would continue to improve under the build build build program.
@@KumanderDaot We are so happy you came in and made this cool vlog about our hometown Lebak. Yeah,we usually took that route before if we go to Isulan,But since Lebak-Cotabato road network was made, doon na kami dumadaan.
@@KumanderDaot Our first lady Maam Sonia wanted to see you during your visit, but she's in Davao at that time,Sayang.Sa next balik mo,please let us know in advance para ma welcome ka rin ni Mayor Bong.
Kumander, thank you for show casing the island of Mindanao. I know nothing of this island. It looks rather majestic. Some of paternal grandmother's ( she from Tagudin, Ilocus Sur, which I've visited as a wee child) relations moved to Mindanao in the 1950's and established themselves through fish farming etc.; you certainly know a thing or two about this business. I didn't realize how beautiful and geographically as well as geological varied the island of Mindanao is. Thanks a million for these video report...cheers...American-Filipino here on the West Coast of the USA.
I was in Tagudin, Ilocus Sur in 2016. The coastal town that is the gateway into the Besang Pass. In the middle lies the small Barangay of Man-Atong where I stayed with my wife's family for a month. Tagudin was our "go to" town for food and supplies and sometimes a swim in the ocean. Some day, when this Covid thing passes, I will go back there and stay awhile longer, God willing.
@@Periskop1 ..am so rusty about Philippines history pls pardon me.. but bits & pieces I do remember when Sabah was trying to extend it's territory to Jolo, Mindanao so those days there was a real little war in that area.. even now those remnants..want that region to be independent fr the Philippines
KD never ceases to amaze me. Video shots, cinematic effects, perfect music and very good video transistions, the excellent narratives and the way the video is presented all make the impression that KD is a pro despite the fact that he just started learning to vlog and edit videos only a few months ago. He is an entertaining and a funny guy too. I never get bored watching his vlogs.
In the middle of ur video Kumander D. reaching #Kalamansig-South Cotabato. Made me cry & Thanks God for His goodness to us Filipinos who has vast beautiful land. Thank u for introducing & informative videos About some part Of Mindanao. Lord bless & Best regards from Timor Leste.
Kumander, this is an addendum to my previous comment. I chuckled when you had to turn back because; to quote you: "I'm Hungry"...ha...ha...ha.. This reminds me of Napoleon Bonaparte who stated that an army marches on it's stomach. What is remarkable about you is that you are not fussy about the local food. You're willing to try it and discover another world of culinary experiences. Kudos to you. Cheers...American-Pinoy here on the West Coast of the USA.
KD.. I just want to say that you're looking good health wise. I feel that you're really back to where you belong sir. Great job with the docuvlogs also. Keep up the good work sir.
I love that you're showcasing places that most vloggers normally don't..Your editing and contents keep getting better and better everytime. Padayon Kumander!!
@@marjsiarot1804 ah ok po... try nyo po isubscribe si Dustin Backpacts po. Gf po ni Dustin si Reche. Siarot ang mama niya. Daghan sila Siarot sa Sam-ang Toledo. Salamat maam
Amazing to see you feature this part of the Philippines kumander! can't wait to see what other adventures you had in region 12 !!! Don't forget to discover the food!!!!! ☺️☺️☺️
Hey brother, The place is so interesting I haven't been there before, I grew up in Luzon most of my life, manila is the focus of our daily routine, I would love to see that place when covid is over take care stay out of trouble see you then.....
Thanks so much ,nice that you go to places that are not the norm , most other channels always go to tourist spots ,this was fantastic loved seeing those amazing forests with huge trees ,this was the real Philippines tourist places are to western one is the same as the other ,even the place you ate food at did not have a name that was great really thank you for this video and showing us the real Philippines loved it . Your a very good producer in making video's cool .
Always good vibes. Cool tunes. Beautiful drone shots. The landscape is breathtaking. Nice road trip. Thank you for taking us along with you. Beautiful sunset. Great video. That alarm for curfew is so loud.
So nice drone shots KD! Very impressive! The sceneries were so beautiful but part of the roads were scary. Even though I'm originally from Mindanao but I haven't gone to that place before. I have a very dear friend & colleague in Lebak though. Thanks for showing this to us KD...God bless your trip. Stay safe
I really wish that area of Mindanao can settle down and be safer in the future. There are a lot of tourism areas there, sadly tainted by the conflicts.
One of your nicest blog! I got a little emotional how most people in the country are left behind and they still live calmly in a danger zone. Philippines is beyond description of it’s beauty, she’s just waiting for a good hearted leaders, ones that are not corrupt and prioritizing its people and not power or their dynasties. We travel with you commander, stay safe.
Im just thinking how these roads didn't existed 5 years ago and back in the 80s. And many of these roads was just a small trail, it would been worser in the rain season just all muddy and people couldn't or took them many hours just to get to the nearest city. My relatives and mother is from samar and i have heard lots of stories about the roads but also how communities has developed. Today it's convenient due to improvements through decades. But there is still a lot things to improve. Your vlogs are amazing. Remote places like these deserves attention and recognition
Thanks for visiting our place KD.. You should have taken the Isulan Maguindanao road going to Lebak and Kalamansig....all concrete and winding road... Lebak has a lot of pension houses...beautiful falls..caves..katunggan eco park ..nice local foods ...enjoy and Stay safe!
I love these adventure trips through the lush forested mountains of Mindanao and out of the way coastal towns rarely visited by outsiders. Love the aerial shots and musical background. The whole blog was quite a treat for someone deprived of human contact during the pandemic lockdowns of North America. I guess the nine o'clock curfew meant last beer call. Lol.
Thanks Kumander for exploring the beautiful Southern part of our country, hope we could also see and explore the beautiful places and people of Mindanao.. stay healthy and be safe always Kumander Daot!!!
thank you kumander for the road trip. i have never been to sultan kudarat but because of your vlog i was able to see the place. it really feels good to watch youtube with no ads at all. Youttube Premium Subscriber here 😉
Thank you KD for showing us Southern border of the country.I knew these places ,I used to travel and explored together with friends 30 years ago.Im happy to see the road improvements. Its true it’s very far,but when you reach that places you can see the real natural beauty and there’s a lot of things to explore and show to us.Seldom vlogger to go there .I congratulate you KD you are brave.
OMG❤ Mindanao beauty is amazing so many hidden gem ,untouch nature, hills and healthy environment. One of the riches province in Philippines is Mindanao praying that all the build build build project under this present govt.will continue up to the next leader .Keep safe Kumander Daot.
WOW!!! Another awesome video Kumander D!!! This video appears like a combination of a vlog/video from Kulas (i.e., Becoming Filipino) and Daniel Marsh with your own touch!!! You're the man!!!
Kumander looking good with that haircut dude, you look more civilised lol, well done on your vlogging talent much improved bro.keep up the good work and stay safe.
Great work, Kumander Daot! ❤️❤️❤️. The cinematographic effect, the information and the picturesque of the places were all commendable! 👍👍👍 Kumander Daot has actually the heart and spirit of a true adventurer💪💪💪! Good luck on your journey, Kumander 👏👏👏
7:03 hold-up to all non-Filipinos, just FYI: • generally, a hold-up is a cause of delay, an obstruction, or the like • in the Philippines, if somebody declares a hold-up, he specifically means an armed roberry
Thank you for showing us Sultan Kudarat, the Kalamansig area. In the 70’s my husband, who was working for a pharmaceutical company used to visit doctors there. By showing us the challenge of driving through paved and unpaved highways and roads, it must have been very dangerous experience for him. One day, when We’re allowed to travel again, I will visit Mindanao. Well done Vlog Kumander Daot!
20 pesos or 41 cents in the US. Can't even get a roll in a restaurant for 41 cents and it buys an entire meal in the Philippines. You're getting good with the drone.
Whoa! I'm impressed with Mr. Daot na! I love the video and the drone shots-amazing views in Kalamansig. You're fun to watch too! Stay safe and have fun. God bless your journey!
Aminin man o hindi ng mga moro, ginamit lang sila ng traidor na taong yan. Saklap naipangalan pa sa kanya ang lugar na gulo lang naman ang dinala sa pinas ng hayop na taong yan.
Very much appreciated KD on what you did exploring Mindanao which is very very nice scenery you’ve got and excellent documentary well done waiting for part 2. Be careful on the place praying for safety and health. 🐨🐨🐨🤗🙏😘
This is my favorite vlog of yours so far. I'm from Isulan and have never been to those 2 coastal towns. Thanks for showing us around, never knew these places are so beautiful. Hoping to visit and do some road trips after the pandemic. Keep these kind of vlogs coming. Loving it! :)
Wow, i am from mindanao but did not able to come to that place, thank you for giving idea of this wonderful places in saranggani🤩, be careful and God bless...
Thank you for showing the world my hometown kumander daot! I’m so proud! Sta.clara kalamansig lebak is a big part of my life I used to sell suman balanghoy/cassava sa lebak during my elementary days!
Kumander D thank you to this video. 45 years ago I was there in Kulaman and I still have relatives living there today. My grandfather was one of the first settlers in the area. Thank you🥰
