I have a theory that in the Thomas world, some form of the Magic Gold Dust is used to create vehicles, which is why most are sentient, but the vehicles that aren't alive, like Sir Topham Hatt's car, were made without magical gold dust, or "normally", you could say. Which explains why sometimes the vehicles (not just engines) can drive themselves, and why sometimes they have to be driven by a driver (and in the case of Thomas & The Royal Engine, both)

The creepy ones I’ve seen so far are if the face is removed from the engines and if they can still talk or be able to move without their faces! Another part I liked from this is many random people asking a lot of unanswerable Thomas questions in Tugs’ video.

I think I have a theory about this question: 4:20 - 4:30, I'm just going to explain this as short as possible. So basically the short answer is: If they get rid of the troublesome trucks or just simply stop using them (despite doing so would'd saved the railway so much money and prevent future accidents caused by them), it could caused a shortage of trucks on the railway, could cause some problems if they refuse to use the trucks with faces and might cost the Fat Controller a lot of money to buy faceless trucks to replace every single troublesome truck on the island. That's my guess at least.

For clarification, that Thomas on the Moon book is much more tame than you think. I had it as a kid and Thomas didn't actually go to the moon, but instead was part of some astronomy-themed festival where they had a mock-up moon set for photos or something.

Right to answer some of these unanswerable, 1. They levered Duncan back on the rails using Jacks, spare sleepers and metal bars. In my head canon the faceless trucks are alive but have season 1 truck faces. This is because they are super hard to see and their faces disappear randomly in season 1 and the same for the narrow gauge coaches Edit: It’s not entirely impossible as Henrietta didn’t have a face in the early seasons
