@@mhegen one thing is bugging us tho. IF a poisoned creature gets taken down and the attacker has TOUGH does it mean the attacker is just losing one life point or does it get taken down?
We are working on it with everything we have. It could go fast, but we can't announce a date just yet. If you want you could sign up for our newsletter to get notified once we are ready.
@@nerdlabgames8895 Already did 😁 Thanks for your response. I’ll have the chance to try the game on an event organised by La Mesa de Dam RU-vid channel on Nov 6th cause he brought a copy from Essen. All the best!!!
The Rules of Tough should have included the Parenthesized text that you included here, (Tough is like having 2 lives.) I've played Mind Bug about 20 times, with atleast 4 people. Only with my latest gameplay did we figure out that Tough means they stay exhausted for the rest of the game. Myself and the 3+ other players have read the rulebook and only today did this stick out. Considering most dueling card games have you to ready at the beginning or end of turn. It would just be wise to include this. Some of my games ended in stale mate like scenarios because of tough. Maybe the wording changed between the print and play version and the retail, but I doubt it. I just think it could have been a little more clear.
@@nerdlabgames8895 Thanks so much! When I searched the workshop for it as two words "mind bug" it didn't come up. But if I search for "mindbug" it does appear.
i bought the game at the SPIEL 21 because of the amazing explaining of your nice personals i look forward to play it - but sorry, i have seen this video till the end - but i have still some questions: -both player has usually 5 Cards - the opponent none - usually he has the same Value of Cards on his hand and he can chose? - here is played as if he has no cards - no interaction - at 3:16 -Actions : Play one card or make an Attack / are 3 Cards on the battlefield (how is this possible?) - at .6:45 Hunter Creature Effect - you can choose which creature the opponent uses to block? same question - concerning the battlefield -at 7:10 - some effects on the cards are not self explaining (e . g. Explosive toad - Frenzy: "defeat a creature" - wich creature? with a special points - of the opponent? ) you explain the word "Frenzy" - but the card effect is not explained though as your example the creature gets defeated please be so kind and help me understanding... 😌
As a Richard Garfield fan and a Keyforge player it seems that this tutorial left us with some questions. I actually had the same questions as Nicki Be nice. If you post a how to play tutorial, it is best that you actually play the game with a opponent. I've been subscribed on the newsletter but i am hasitating on backing this game. Please reply and awnser questions.
Hi Nicki, sorry for the late reply. This video is meant to explain the rules on a high level. It is not a full playthrough. What does that mean? I do not go into detail about the individual card effects. It is more to explain the flow of the game and the different keywords. That's why the opponent does not have a hand in this video and why I do not talk about some of the special card effects. Now regarding your questions: - Why are there more cards on the battlefield than one? --> Each turn you can either play a card or attack with a card on the battlefield. When you play a card it stays on the battlefield. That means if you chose to play creatures multiple turns in a row you will end up with more than one creature on the battlefield. But when you decide to use your action to attack you still have to choose one of them and don't attack with all of them. - Hope that also answers your question regarding the Hunter. If not please don't hesitate to ask again. - Effect of the Explosive Toad: Once it is defeated (e.g. due to losing a battle), you as the controller of that card get to defeat a creature (you can choose that creature)
@@gl3nn_nl337 If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask. We are happy to help. There will be more high-quality full playthrough videos coming (this was just meant as a short high-level rules introduction).
