My wife lived in Minden for many years, we went to Rolf's bar "Le Journal" on our regular visits, always had a great time in his bar, the early rock and roll and other music is really great, no problems; ever. Great place to go, not to be faulted.
My favorite bar. It doesn't matter that I'm in Las Vegas, NV, USA, and Le Journal is in Minden, Germany. Rolf Mueller is the owner of Le Journal, and he runs it every night. We've (The Bisquits) spent many a evening there over the years, drinking and carrying on until the sun came up. It's where I learned about the REAL Budweiser. The real thing. It's not like that watered, no flavor crap you get here in the states. Rolf is a Hoot when he gets on that microphone. He's a great guy. AND, he knows his music. Thanks a lot Rolf for all the fun times. Hopefully, we'll do it again one day.
