Lovely episode - so nice to you again and to know you had such an enjoyable journey to Denmark and back. Stay safe and well. I love the calm in your podcasts....thank you so much.
It was so lovely to sit and knit with you tonight Jane! I am so happy to see you so refreshed after your visit to Denmark! Wishing you all the best for 2024 💗
Hello Jane. Just stumbled across your channel this morning and wish to share my gratitude to you for following local protocols and sharing a land acknowledgement. Not a common practice among knitting podcasts. I very much enjoyed seeing scenes from your home as well. I will be returning to support your channel.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for supporting my channel. Acknowledgement of Country is important for me and this is the least we can do. Until next time.
Oh Jane, I have to say You are looking very good. I think You have indeed made a new start in 2024 and found youre own space and life. You are in peace with yourself, it shows through the screen. I wish You all the best starting 2024. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Tak for din podcast. Dejligt at se dig igen.
Good to see you Jane! It looks like the trip back to Denmark was just the medicine you needed after your really tough 2023. Your tees both look lovely. I have been waiting to cast on my KAT no 1 but just need the right yarn. and I think I have one that I might swatch with that came to mind as you were chatting about yours (not sure I have enough with my need to go up a size as well). I hope that you will participate in the KAT in April! Take care!
Oh Jane, you look amazingly gorgeous and refreshed from your Denmark trip. Of interest, what were the items you brought back from your mother's house. The sophie scarf can still be used here in SE of SA. Summer hasn't arrived here yet. Im knitting a 2nd attempt of the Ilia sweater. The 1st was a failure. I would have stayed up to watch the Danish Proclamation but didn't know it was televised. I havent watched TV for the last 14 weeks since we holidayed in November around Tassie.
Thank you so much for your kind words. From my Mum's I only brought back some Christmas decorations this time around. There's still some crockery, a painting and some table cloths that I need to figure out how and when to get out here. The King's proclamation I watch live via the Danish broadcasting company.
You start at the ankle. I did 10 rows of ribbing on the 2.5mm (might you have 2.5mm for socks?) Then I moved up to the 3.25mm and began the knitting and purling rounds. Alternatively, start with 3.25mm, dk weight yarn, and less stitches. 😊
