this is actually one of the better interviews with him. The funny interviews are great too, but this one is actually insightful on his creative process
Agreed, there really is a method to his madness. He's been doing this for a decade, and is truly intelligent about quite a few things. Yes he's very easy on the eyes, but he's also a great Entertainer/Businessman/Programmer/Smarmy Bastard. Plus he still has the common decency to greet everyone and anyone after the show! There is a brain behind skeletal yet adorable face.
I like your interview, you talk to Jimmy like a friend rather than just an interviewer; which is unique, and probably something new for them. I personally don't think you're an idiot at all! Ignore the haters :) Good job done.
i was young when i did this interview...16 i think, and i gave it my best shot. Most think what they will but at least i tried to do something and got out there and did it. I respect your opinion, however, i beg to differ.
The tattoo on his fingers spells out the name of his wife, Chantel. Which is so damn sweet! hehe. Jimmy is such an awesome guy, so nice and down to earth!
I'm actually the interviewer and I must inquire as to how you came about this conclusion. When you go an interview big bands, then you can come here and judge. Until then, your nothing but a fan watching my interview with him.
What a genius interviewer. I'm sure he doesn't get the refreshing taste of having someone as endearing or friendly like this everyday, so he really seemed like enjoyed that. Remember me, your little graphics editor, when you're a big journalist!!
hmmm... I'm pretty sure that those leaving comments on here are watching the video to listen to him in the first place. And yes, he is brilliant, but a lot of people don't get to see that side of him. He puts on a great show of being a complete and total spaz. :)
he is actually so sweet. people i feel like have a hard time separating ones stage personality from normal everyday one XD you did a great job! i love seeing this he does a lot of crazy interviews and this is a down to earth one. awesome job, i dont get why people are getting their pantys in a bunch XD
It's so weird seeing Jimmy like this. XD But, even the most...Urine-ish...person...has the mental capacity and capability to be act in a serious manner. :)
@OKvex funny thing is...i know him. I've interviewed him since I started to doing journalism and you know, I was young and a bit nervous in this interview. I've come a long way from this, although I still do like this interview. So no...he wasn't restraining himself for your info.
Aw that is very sweet of you....I am sorry I came off rather hostile. It just gets to you after reading negative comment after negative comment, so I am always on defense. I appreciate what you said, and best of luck to you. Thanks again.
you did great! i love to see this side of him! also did you interview lindsey way after her art show i sware i saw pics of someone interviewing her that looked just like you :D
@chelsnatt personally, i think this is the most revealing interview about jimmy ive ever seen, with all the other ones I still could barely understand who he is. wtvr your tactic was it worked, i think he likes being agreed with so yeah
He doesn't like a certain type of music so he creates a new style, whats the problem. If you hear a song and dont like it, its not small minded. In another interview he says," good music is good music no matter what the genre". He doesn't want to fallow anyone, its not a crime. He's a leader. Did you listen to anything he said in this interview? He doesn't think he's better, wth.dont jump to conclusions. There I proved all your bullshyt theories to be just that.
No, it is fair because instead of sitting on my ass and judging people who are chasing their dream, I went and did something with my life. Maybe you should too and then life will be fair.
I didn't disrespect anyone. Yea I said 'fucker' but I didn't use it to demean him. Mindless Self Indulgence is one of my favorite bands. And I'm not a fanatic. So if you're going to make a judgement about someone at least get it right. btw do you think I named myself 'DoesThisOffendYou' by chance?
How did you get him to do an interview? Thats like so.... cool cause he's like not average and not to offend you but you and I both are, average. I think it's so cool that you interviewed him. I believe you to be a person with a high future.
Well then that's your personal preferences. But I joke and call my friends names all the time and they do the same to me. To me fucker is just another word and you should be able to use anyway you choose to. And by favorite bands I mean out of fifty.
Well that's the way I talk, I'm not going to change it just because one person thinks it's wrong. And a 'fanatic' is a person who obsesses over something. I'm not a fanatic.
i find it very interesting he doesn't like rock songs, but I see what he means though, every rock song is becoming the same song over and over again, very repetitious
I'm sorry. It just..really did offend me. I know you didn't, but it's such a bad phrase to use, you know. .. And 'fan' is short for 'fanatic', so, er yeah you are a fanatic.
Okay, I apologize. I don't know you personally so I can't necessarily judge you or your words. I hope you understand, though, how it kind of pissed me off.
You are such an ignorant individual. For your information the real work is not a movie. One does not become successful through their looks, imbecile, they get far with persistence and passion. I do all the hard work, I study music, I work hard for it. I know Jimmy from previous interviews, so he was easier to interview, it became more of a conversation. You are an idiot and I hope you keep that philosophy on life because I know if that were the case, you most likely won't get very far.
MSI is god-awful. What in the world gives this guy the idea that they are a worthwhile band? Deep in his heart, he's got to realize his existence is a detriment to all who come in contact with him.
