I'm not sure what it is about you or your songs, but every time I watch one of your videos I feel so small and nostalgic, and it makes me feel like a little kid again who can just run around in the sun and spin around circles without a care in the world. It makes me excited for things like summer and inspires me to go out and have fun for once, for those few short minutes until the song ends. I'm not sure where this comment is going but I just really love your music and hope you get the success you deserve

This song took me all the way through the process of my last crush. I spent ages dreaming about him and hoping he'd stop just smiling at me and finally say something... but he never did. I finally did something to try to show him how much I wanted something special with him and totally scared him off :P I held onto hope for literally years afterward but he had so many opportunities and I'm done wishing for something that will never be. this is my absolute favorite for so many reasons. if it was rewritten after the boy in question was made yours, it'd be a great 'first dance' song. that's what I thought of with the first verse and chorus. in any case, it is lyrically, melodically, and emotionally beautiful in every way. ❤
