Not Minecraft, But Water Rises or Minecraft, But Lava Rises, or any other but challenge like that. This isn't a speed run / speed runner of Minecraft against a killer / assassin. This isn't 100 Days Hardcore or I Played Minecraft Hardcore for 100 Days and Here's what Happened. This is 100 Days Minecraft Hardcore with a twist, I'm in a world that slowly expands. By myself, this isn't an SMP I have with my friends. Not the Classic 100 by 100 World with complex Wither Rose and Iron Farms cause I got bored. The reason the mob farm didn’t work was the floor was slabs, slabs are “transparent blocks” (according the games code) so mobs can’t spawn on them, as far as I can tell when you replaced the slabs on the roof you didn’t replace the slabs on the floor which is why the farm continued to not work If I misswatched the video then I have no clue why it didn’t work

Yeah he uses slab instead of full blocks and even the roof is slab it will work and it will increase spawn rate of the mob famr

The reason you weren’t able to get level 30 enchant is because the barrel you placed was blocking the bookshelves from working

2:36 The chicken disappeared because that was from a chicken jockey, as the chicken from that can despawn unlike normal chickens. That's also why it was in the mine (the baby zombie probably suffocated in a wall from it trying to go in a 1 block tall space)

2:23 if you find a chicken in a mine, it's most likely a jockey chicken that suffocated its rider. These chickens despawn like hostile mobs because they spawned as such. That's why the one in the video disappeared

11:43 if you have ANY block between the bookshelves and the enchanting table they will not effect it. And you had a torch between them, so you lost one. That was the problem. Edit: you even placed a barrel in the corner, that made you lose to more.

Probably many people have already pointed this out, but The bookshelves were blocked by the barrel, that's why you didn't get level 30 Spamming snowballs to blazes won't do, as there's a 0.5 seconds immunity when mobs get hit.

@@scarymapping4262 I'm aware, I've watched a few videos on the recent issues of people buying accounts and subbotting. They spam on all sorts of videos for attention and pretend that them doing that alone, for less than a year or a bit over a year, with little to no videos somehow amasses 100K subscribers. Another like Six would be Dam who is notorious for so obviously subbotting with the extremely suspicious spike of subscribers in a single month. The only ones who aren't super suspicious would be UwU who has an ARG going on (from what I've heard, I don't actually know much about UwU's case) and without a mustache guy since he's been around for a while, before the influx of verified subbotting spammers, and I've actually been subscribed to him at one point and know many others who recognize him too so he's not made up of sub bots, not entirely at least.

To anyone wondering about the first chicken, it despawned because it was from a chicken jockey spawning (the baby zombie on a chicken mob). As it was spawned in this way it won’t drop eggs and will despawn after an amount of time to reduce lag in the world unless it is named with a name tag which fixes the despawning problem but not the egg problem. It can breed and make a normal chicken tho.

For anyone watching in 1.20.1 wanting to do this for yourself: 1. The Datapack is called "every day the border expands" and is on Planet Minecraft 2. Update the pack.mcmeta's pack_format value to 15 3. Under the data folder, change the name of the "day expands border" folder to day_expands_border 4. Under data>minecraft>tags>functions>tick.json, update line 3 from "day expands border:loop" to "day_expands_border:loop" 5. Plot the datapack into the world while creating it in the world creation menu

The reason the chicken despawned is because it spawned as a jockey, whoch counts as a hostile mob so it needs a name tag
